Electricity wasnt working right at the site , blew 3 different fuses in my travel trailer and I had no power for a whole day the first day on my 2 day getaway. Next morning around 9am or 10 am someone reached out to me and told me that they were gonna send someone out and they did while I ran around trying to find fuses for my rv because Walmart didnt carry them. When I returned they had replaced the power pole so everything started working. Worst trip I experienced so far 2 days of running back and forth up the expressway because no one carried those fuses

First time at this campground and we loved it. Every site is on the water. We had a pull through that gave us beautiful sunset views over the lake. Spacious site with good separation from others. Sites are still reasonably close but there are enough trees between to give you a sense of privacy. We will definitely be back.

We had such a wonderful stay at this campsite! From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, clean, and well taken care of. The campsites were spacious and gave just the right amount of privacy, while still feeling safe and welcoming. The natural surroundings were absolutely beautifulperfect for relaxing, exploring, and unplugging from the busyness of everyday life. The facilities were very well maintained, including the restrooms and common areas, which made a huge difference in our overall experience. Its clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the campground in great shape. We also appreciated how quiet it was at nightperfect for sitting by the campfire and enjoying the sounds of nature.Whether youre camping with family, friends, or just looking for a peaceful getaway, this is definitely a spot I would recommend. We made so many great memories here and are already looking forward to coming back!

Arrived without a reservation. The man at the gate said to pull off the road and go on line to reserve a spot. Went very smoothly and I enjoyed my 2 night stay.

The campground is very well kept, the lake is beautiful, however, be aware that the lake levels are far below normal. But that gives you a chance to have a beach type experience.

Very large site, with a lot of privacy.

Nice Park in a beautiful location, huge sites with privacy and close to 90% are waterfront.Restrooms are cleaned daily and the staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed on site 74 near the beach, boat ramp, and pier.During our stay there was an incident where a rat snake was found in one of the restrooms. No big deal seeing as this is camping and a camp host removed it immediately. Likely it got in because the doors were regularly propped open after cleaning. Perhaps for everyone's safety that is not a good idea and should be expressed to the cleaning staff, or even signs posted to keep the doors closed.Over all it was a very enjoyable stay and would revisit in the future.Kudos to the camp staff !

love COE campgrounds. Please do not transfer to a county to maintain !!! Please keep Winfield open year round. The counties up and price and don't honor our senior passes. Winfield is the cleanest campground I've ever been to.

One of the nicest campgrounds we have ever visited. The site was plenty large, well maintained, and the view was great. Spacing between campsites was plenty.

Excellent place to camp. The people that run the campground are great. Very nice & keep the place very clean. They know the area & have suggestions for help if you need it. The ants are a really big problem on some of the sites. I would suggest a good spray for your camper or tent. The sunsets are the best. Views of the lake can be seen from almost every site. Sites are pretty big & some are very private. Try Maggie Jaynes SnowCone place if you bring kids. Its great. And they welcome dogs. Baby Jos is a great place to eat or take out. But go early because they run out of the best food. The only downside of Winfield is that they are not open year round.

Had a great time. We have been to Winfield several times and really enjoy it! We was really hoping the campground would be open fall and winter ... we love to camp when the months are cooler. Hope to get back before they close up for the season. The ladies that run the campground are great! Winfield has the lake to enjoy a beach and play ground. Not to far away from Evans Ga. where many there are many dining options.

Beautiful breathtaking views of the lake at this park!! Glad to have been able to camp here. Everything nice and clean, well maintained!! We enjoyed our stay so much, just wish it would have been longer!! Love staying in the coves so the winds aren't so strong when a summer storm comes up. Last minute find and they sure accommodated us!!

We really like Winfield, but not spot 51. There is a wash in the pull through that creates a muddy mess. And the curve of the pull through is a little tight for our 35 foot camper.

Great campground. Clean. Well maintained. Strong thunderstorms took the power out for 8 hrs our first night. No AC in July in Georgia isnt fun. Wouldnt advise leaving outside items /awnings unattended in the summer due to the strong winds kicked up by afternoon thunderstorms. Purchased a 5000w generator in Augusta - one night without AC convinced us it was time to check that off our want list. It came in handy as we experienced power outages (storm related) every day we were there. No fault of the campground- these were strong severe thunderstorms Loved our site- very spacious. Easy water access. T- mobile 2-3 bars when we had shore power- resorted to a Verizon esim data plan only during power outages- 3-4 bars. Tmobiles coverage was severely diminished during the power outages. Verizons- not so much. Despite the weather related issues we had a great time. Will revisit earlier in the summer next year before the severe weather season hits.

This park has the hardest working hosts of any park weve stayed at. Always out cleaning and working. The park does need some updating at some sites and need to clear out some of the underbrush blocking views of the lake. And please puts some fans in the bath houses!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
