the quietest campground you will ever go to.....I wouldn't go out in the woods..it was hunting season and lots of unexplained things going on out there....

Great place to take the family. The host is a great guy, he treats people like they're friends and not strangers.

Beautiful campground. Loved the rustic feel. Sites were far enough apart which provided an appreciated level of privacy. Would highly recommend.

Sites to fit any campter, from rustic to full-hookup, to a cabin. Water levels were low this fall, I didn't see anyone fishing and could walk in the stream bed in places. Nice and quiet with a little free library if you need some entertainment. There were no TV stations in range, but I did get some radio stations. There is a 1 mile hiking trail that connects to the longer Seven Sisters trail. I was disappointed in the lack of wildlife this visit, but it was still a nice stay.

The site was nice, and the bath house was pretty well cared for. The area was wooded, with a healthy space between sites.

We stayed at site 11 for 2 nights and this was a roomy site. The campground is unkept with overgrown trees. The bathrooms were old and definitely and unkept and not usable for showers. Our site had electricity but no water. The only site on website for a 40" with water was 43. However, we looked at many sites with water that would have accommodated our 40" MH (no toad) easily and one of the hosts said we could move to any empty site with water if we wanted.What really got my craw was that they charged $6/night for elec hookup and a booking fee! Something we haven't seen at any of the 20+ campsites (13 gov't campgrounds) we've stayed at since we started RVing this year. No plan to return unless we have no other option traveling home to NJ from warmer places...

Love this campground! Very quiet campground. Sites are spacious with a number of electric and water hookups. Camp host very knowledgeable and helpful. Not too far off I-77. We stop here whenever we are traveling through the area.

This campground is a well kept secret. The restroom/shower houses are a bit old, but the hosts keep them clean and well maintained. all the sites are level and kept clean and well marked. Water and Electric are safe and easily connected to. The views and roads are very picturesque. Wytheville (15mins) is a quaint little town with shops and restaurants of all kinds. Late September and early October is the perfect time of year with cool nights and comfortable days. Beware, long trailers (>22') can be a challenge to back into for a few of the sites.

This was our third time to stay at Stoney Fork campground.Every time we have enjoyed our stay. We reserve for the first time and didnt realize that we had picked a site without water. Maybe we were too late in booking to get both water and electricity. Overall it was a great stay. Everything was clean and in good condition.

Very quiet, even on a holiday weekend. The host Roger was awesome! Always friendly and checking to see if we needed anything. The area was beautiful! Would definitely come back.

The site we stayed in was nice but difficult for even a 25 ft trailer to maneuver into the site. The boathouse was nice & the site was clean. We enjoyed the attractions in the area.

Camp host on back of campground was rude. She had a horrible looking camp site with tarps and a dog house. She did not speak except to SCREAM at us when our dog got away from us. Her father did not follow camp directions driving his golf cart the wrong way. She also screamed from her campsite at a truck that drove by at a rate of speed she felt was too fast but if she knew the person the same rule did not apply. We will not be back.

Was unable to use my Star Link!! Too many trees! Nice private camp spot. For the location was good for a stop over one night. Bathrooms were fair ! Picnic table needed to be replaced! Honestly, it needed to be on the burn pile!!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
