The reserved sites need to be managed better! You should not be able to reserve a site for one night! It messes up the ppl that wanna camp there all weekend!

This is the best campground to come relax and unwind. To disconnect from the stress of everyday life. Sit and listen to nature. Camp host are always friendly. One of our favorite places to camp

We have been staying at this Camp ground on a regular basis for at least 5 years. We love that the sites are tucked behind the trees so that they are somewhat private. The campground overall is much quieter then some we have stayed in. The showers, well woman showers need some updates. Most of the hosts we have talked to in the 5 years have been very kind and helpful. We do recommend this campground.

We like the quiet and the large camp sites wish there were more with water and elect. sometimes find a good site with one reserved day in the week. we like a week at time.

Beautiful quiet campground. Bath house very dated and not super clean.

Stony Fork is convenient to the highway yet still secluded. The campground is wooded and a creek runs through the center. The sites are roomy with variety of water, water and electric, or standard. There are 4 bathhouses with flush toilets and one shower in each. There is also a dump station right across from the entrance. There is also a cabin available for rent with water and electric. Clean and well kept, I would definitely stay again.

Great location, and tons of privacy. I will certainly be staying there again.

This campground was quiet and clean, with a hiking loop connected to a longer trail. A creek flows through the campground making all sites fairly close to the creek. Bathrooms were clean and had hot water. A variety of types of sites, from rustic to full hook-up. Although the hiking at the campground can be done in a single day, you are a short drive from multiple AT access points. Shopping isn't too far away. There were lots of warblers, and I saw Ruffed Grouse on the longer trail. Hosts were friendly and on top of everything.

Nice trails, road in good shape, clean bathrooms. The land lies low and the creek runs all through the campground, could be some flooding after heavy rain.

Extremely clean, well maintained with friendly and knowledgeable camp hosts. Highly recommended.

Rustic campground with none of the usual amenities. Access is excellent from Interstate 77 or Interstate 81 via state highway. Both roads are easy to drive for any size rig. Inside the campground there is a paved one way loop with four bridges crossing the Stony Fork. No issue with big rig access. Beautiful location with paved sites, picnic table and fire ring. Most sites have slopes, can be managed with blocks or pads for most RVs. Some sites are closer to the road however its not generally used by trucks and was quiet, especially at night. Most sites have space with foliage between them. Mix of primitive, electric only and water and electric sites. Dump station across the road from the entrance. Four bathhouses. Clean but showing wear and tear. Wytheville is about 15 min south of the campground, has ample shopping, eating and fuel options. Also has a historical walking tour. Three miles north of the campground is Big Walker Mt lookout. Great view on a clear day. Had cell service (AT&T) but no OTA TV options. Overall a basic campground with excellent access in a beautiful forest setting.

Reserved a campsite online for one night in route to Tennessee. Wish I had more time at this campsite. It was beautiful quiet and the campsites were spaced out fairly well.

Stoney Fork was only 10 minutes off 81. It was our stop over to and from Nashville from Virginia Beach. We plan on a longer stay to enjoy the area in the spring.

We overnighted here on our way to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The campground is nice, and we enjoyed having electric & water. The mens room sink ran very slowly. Shower was nice and bathroom clean. The dump station is across the road from the entrance, and the rinse hose is not accessible from the only remaining spot you can dump. It used to be a two way dump station.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
