the quietest campground you will ever go to.....I wouldn't go out in the woods..it was hunting season and lots of unexplained things going on out there....

The reserved sites need to be managed better! You should not be able to reserve a site for one night! It messes up the ppl that wanna camp there all weekend!

We like the quiet and the large camp sites wish there were more with water and elect. sometimes find a good site with one reserved day in the week. we like a week at time.

Stony Fork Campground is a wonderfully set up and maintained campground with paved camping slots. We have had four occasions to use it and have enjoyed each one.

good camp, site trails good, no fish in stoney fork, was cool but not bad a good 5 days would like to see more sites with water and electric. have noted that some sites may have only one day in a week rented making it not useable for a camper wanting 4 or 5 days.

Just the right amount of seclusion yet still open to say a friendly hello to your neighbor passing by. Felt welcomed by all and our camp hosts were very professional.

Great gem of a campground. Several smaller bathhouses located on the property. Convenient to several nearby cities, breweries, wineries, etc. Sites are generally good sized. Several with a lot of separation between them. Limited number with both water and electric. Dump station is easy to access the street from the entrance. One mile nature trail that is a great hike on site. It link to a longer trail.

Hope you like wildlife. Saw deer eating in open camp sites several times and came across more every time we hiked the nature trail

Definitely plan on going back.

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay. It is a quiet small campground nestled between the mountains. Many sites that are fairly level. Some sites with electric and some with water and electric which is not the norm for many National Forest campgrounds. Also has showers. Facilities could be somewhat cleaner and hence the rating. Also, some issues with water temperature. Same shower having comfortable water one day had frigid cold the next. Overall a good stay.Warning: Watch out for the poison ivy. Of course, being in the mountains and next to a lovely flowing stream, that is to be expected.

Quiet campground with clean level pads and good shade. Seven Sisters trail is just right for mature explorers. Lots of interesting stuff within easy drive distance.
