Sites to fit any campter, from rustic to full-hookup, to a cabin. Water levels were low this fall, I didn't see anyone fishing and could walk in the stream bed in places. Nice and quiet with a little free library if you need some entertainment. There were no TV stations in range, but I did get some radio stations. There is a 1 mile hiking trail that connects to the longer Seven Sisters trail. I was disappointed in the lack of wildlife this visit, but it was still a nice stay.

This was our third time to stay at Stoney Fork campground.Every time we have enjoyed our stay. We reserve for the first time and didnt realize that we had picked a site without water. Maybe we were too late in booking to get both water and electricity. Overall it was a great stay. Everything was clean and in good condition.

The site we stayed in was nice but difficult for even a 25 ft trailer to maneuver into the site. The boathouse was nice & the site was clean. We enjoyed the attractions in the area.

We decided on spending some time at Stony Fork Campground in lieu of another one we frequent that was closed for renovations. We very much enjoyed our stay at Stony Fork.

This is the best campground to come relax and unwind. To disconnect from the stress of everyday life. Sit and listen to nature. Camp host are always friendly. One of our favorite places to camp

We have been staying at this Camp ground on a regular basis for at least 5 years. We love that the sites are tucked behind the trees so that they are somewhat private. The campground overall is much quieter then some we have stayed in. The showers, well woman showers need some updates. Most of the hosts we have talked to in the 5 years have been very kind and helpful. We do recommend this campground.

This is a beautiful location that is very secluded in the mountains yet only 15 minutes from the nearby town of Wytheville.

We stayed here last summer and loved it so much that we came back again in August 2022 for a week. The campsites are private, shaded, and well-kept. It is within an hour of many fun, day exploration sites. The night skies were amazing. However, at the very top of the list were the wonderful campground hosts! Roger was, without a doubt, the friendliest, most helpful, Hospitable Host ever!! Gary and his wife were also exception.Thank you for a great week.

Site 25. The campground itself is lovely & convenient. The facilities are very clean. It was quiet and our fellow campers were good neighbors and very friendly. Site 25 is the absolute pits, tho. It's probably half the size of the rest of the sites. The children had no room to play at all and the sites beside and behind it are very close, with minimal brush for privacy. We were not allowed to change sites unless we wanted to pay full price for the new one so we made do. The children played in the street and the creek and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We will definitely be back but more careful in choosing our site. Avoid #25 unless you don't want space or privacy.

Very nice peaceful campground. My site was nearly level, which I appreciated. The campsites are spaced at a nice distance apart.

We loved the private sites and the hiking trails. Love the fact that it is in Jefferson National Forest. We will definitely return for more camping.

Campground was nice and sites were variable. We were in site 25 which was probably one of the more difficult sites to back a rig in. Pretty close to a 90 degree entrance with narrow road, drop offs on the side of the road, and narrow site, but we made it. Site 25 would be much more appropriate for tent or van. Some other sites were much better. Seems the sites on the outer side of the loop had much wider entrances. Bathhouse was adequate.

Beautiful mountainside campground in a deep forested setting. Dump station and water fill station across highway from entrance, need to be careful crossing highway to and from campground due to traffic and a curve. Dump station has been designed by people who know little about camper dump needs. Weird, swampy mush, one of the worst dump stations ever designed. What a mess. Campground was great, however. Paved sites, often with slope, leveling likely needed. Fairly spacious sites, and lots of space between. There are several concrete box bridges that may become fords in wet weather, and there are depth gauges on these facilities, so it seems that flash flooding could be an issue at times on the roadway and maybe even on some of the lower campsites. People were friendly, sometimes too friendly, sometimes overbearing with regard to their "opinions" about the state you are from (get used to it, Florida has 21 million residents, and sometimes they travel about). This included some of the hosts. Unnecessary and made us feel uncomfortable. Not a whole lot to do in the area, Wytheville was not what we thought it would be with regard to tourism facilities, appears many travel businesses have gone out. Hurt by pandemic? Hard to say.

Smallest site at the campground. More of a tent site but it did fit my teardrop well. (4) bathhouses. No hot water first day at any. Only (2) had showers. Water warm at best. Only negative was no hot water. Campground host(s) work hard to maintain property. Good host(s). Super quiet place even for a holiday. My second time staying here and will be coming back later this year.

Sweet campground, small and quiet. It was nice to see children exploring the creeks. Hosts were visible and helpful. My second site there was next door to the home of a very large bunny who blessed me with his/her presence on more than one occasion. Site was bordered by a beautiful display of blackberry blooms. Hope I make my way back to VA so I can visit again.
