Well kept campground. Good hiking in the area. Reasonable close to stores, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet.

This campground and its campground hosts deserve a 100. We had occasion to speak with Mary and Steve during our stay there. So helpful and accommodating. The campground is well kept, the bathrooms super clean and plenty of hot water. The trails are nicely maintained. Would highly recommend this campground and will return again.

The campsites are nicely spread out with creeks flowing throughout. The camp hosts were very welcoming and regularly stopped by to see if we needed anything.

The campground is well maintained. The hosts are very helpful. They have some sites that are first come first served, so that is nice for a last minute camping. Many things to see and do in the area. We have been there before and will return again.

This is our second time here. Love it. Very peaceful. Very beautiful. We are from Pittsburgh PA and this is the ideal first stopping point for most of our Southeast trips. Will most likely use it on a regular basis.

We stayed here for its proximity to the New River Trail (about 1/2 hour by car to Shot Tower Trailhead). The campground in October was peaceful, with nicely spaced sites, and well-kept by the campground hosts. The bath houses (3) were small, with only 1 shower stall each, but not a problem during our stay. The showers were warm and had good prrssure. The nature trail was nice and linked to the longer 7 Sisters trail. We also drove to Grayson Highlands about an hour away. We would stay here again.
