Campsite 12 is right next to the bathrooms and camp host who has a direct line to the sewer. There is a constant sewage smell at the site which ruined the experience for us.

Hosts were extremely helpful!

Select a spot closest to river for best experience. The main road is pretty loud. Tight spots for larger vehicles / trailers so definitely read the size descriptions. Wonderfully close access to Sedona and Flagstaff activities.

Other than the occasional smell of the restroom, the campground is very nice and the hosts do a great job b

Very clean campground, hosts were very nice, a few rude campers that were loud well into quiet hours and the site is a little close too the road so there is some road noise but we were able to relax and enjoy the scenery. Would camp here again

Beautiful spot next to the natural mineral water spout. Take an empty gallon container to get natural mineral water, located next to the hwy toward Flagstaff. Look for the stone Carian. Sedona is always wonderful.

The campground was clean and the hosts were friendly and super thorough in letting us know the guidelines regarding campfires, etc. Both ice and firewood were available to purchase on site. The campground is close to many outdoor activities in the area - hiking, Slide Rock, etc. The campground gets spring water and there is a public spring at the end of the campground- lots of locals collecting water there. Our site was close to the toilets and every once in awhile we caught a whiff. The host said there was mitigation work happening to rectify that. Bonus-there was hand sanitizer right by the toilets to use. Would stay again.

Nice campground. Lots were a little cramped and being next to the highway was a little loud at night. Beautiful area. Didn't stay too long, we got rained out unfortunately.

Beautiful campsites, well spaced and I loved having the small trail down to the creek. My daughter found all sorts of fun creatures when exploring! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful, spacious, clean campground in Oak Creek Canyon. Host Denise was very friendly. Two miles from West Fork hike, 12 miles from Flagstaff, where we went for pizza one night!

Beautiful location, the hosts Robert and Caroline were very welcoming at first, but then proceeded to nitpick absolutely everything we were doing during our visit. As a regular to the area, I have enjoyed bi-annual visits to Oak Creek for the past 45 years. As an experienced camper my expectation is to be left alone as much as possible as to be able to enjoy the great outdoor experience without infringing upon others experiences as well. During our visit we were playing music during the day at a very low volume. We were informed that there is absolutely no music allowed unless we were playing a guitar. For the next three days we were hounded about campfire etiquette, garbage duties, and continuous visits and checks throughout the day and night, involving lectures, confrontation and the inability to relax. This micromanagement felt targeted and deliberate while other campers seem to be left to their own devices which included music, laughter, and good times! For our last day, Robert and Carolyn were off and the other hosts were absolutely amazing and left us alone (happy wave as they drove by) without any problems whatsoever!

One of the best camp sites we have been in. 20 minutes from Sedona
@SophiaSED4F8FB · Camped on May 22, 2025
Weve stayed here before its beautiful and centrally located. However, this time we drove all the way over there after booking through recreation.gov and calling the office to confirm that we have the weekend. drive seven hours just for the camp host to tell us it had been booked by someone else and we had nowhere to go because recreation.gov did not have accurate information and did not check with them first.

This campground is always a great visit. This is our second time going here and would be willing to go here many times again.

Very nice and close to Sedona, right next to the road, so no real silence. Great hosts!
@KathyF2E2A5FD5 · Camped on May 16, 2025
Our location was close to the street so lots of car noise. No electrical or water so if youre coming in an RV be prepared. Otherwise the lot was good sized with a nice area to hang out. There are no showers or flush toilets.

We are avid campers and love the forest. Although the campground is beautiful, we did not like being so close to the highway. The sound of the traffic really kills the atmosphere. Otherwise the toilets are clean and we didnt have any problems with smells or odors. We hiked the Cook Stove trail nearby and it was beautiful! Quite an incline and I would not recommend to those who arent avid hikers.

Great location and not a large campground. I do wish the generator hours we more limited. The sound is so annoying.

Please review the layout of this campground, the size, and how youre going to park before you get there. Our site was not suitable for our trailer. The host was extremely rude Carolyn. Beautiful place, unfortunately dealt with rude hosts who did not help the situation. There was a spot that we fit in perfect and was reserved for the night before with no shows. Host told us they would be there the next morning. People we knew at the campsite advised us those people never arrived all weekend. Poor hosting, poor customer service. Will not be back.

Beautiful campsite! 004 is tucked away in the trees and right on Oak Creek with a trail down to it. Highly recommend! Only downside is the campground is right off the highway so you hear cars. Clean bathrooms, firewood and ice available.

Camp hosts were friendly and informative, appreciated their warm welcome.

This is a nice little campground tucked slightly away from Sedona. the west side offered lovely views of the canyon walls. Campgrounds and vault toilets were clean! Camp hosts were nice. Sound really travels in this area, so be prepared for road noise and the occasional late-night noisy cackling camper groups. Ear plugs solved this issue for us, though its not that bad where its needed. The hosts are usually pretty good about addressing it and encourage you to reach out to them if it becomes problematic so they can remedy it. Overall, we enjoyed this campground very much and would return!
@JanelleN642660 · Camped on May 2, 2025
The campground was beautiful with limited direct sun due to the canyon. Access to the creek is rocky, but a short walk. My only complaint is that the spots are very close together.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
