I was so looking forward to a beautiful evening in Oak Canyon. Sadly, the campers next to me decided to run their generator the entire evening and started it up again the next morning. Inside those tight canyon walls the noise is very loud and the exhaust was nauseating. The camp host were only a few sites away, but wouldnt do anything but stay inside their air-conditioned RV watching TV and talking about how exhausting and busy their day was. Would never stay there again. Pine flat just up the road actually does enforce generator hours and is just as lovely.

Cave springs is beautiful, this camp site is my family's new favorite! Its the last campsite going to the little watering hole/ cliff jumping area so its a busy area but so beautiful and totally worth every penny spent.

Clean campsites and bathrooms, but it is very noisy. Stayed in F13 & F14, but F13 is so far away from each other, the map online is deceiving. Our group was super separated. There were fire restrictions in place and we saw campsites with a fire. Where are the camp hosts?? They are around all day, but not at night. Disappointing. Also there is poison ivy everywhere.

Clean and lovely. Friendly but noisy in a family way - lots of young ones having magical experiences. Quiet and so dark in the wee hours.

A great, calm, peaceful site. Nearby hiking trails offer scenic views, while creek adds a splash fun with water activities. Perfect for relaxing outdoor gateway.

Relaxed and chill! Probably the best of all of the campsites in Oak Creek!?!

Cave Springs was a wonderful campground. We camped right next to the water and everything was clean and beautiful. Ive literally never seen a cleaner pit toilet in my life. I will definitely be back!

Camping was great arrived July 6th showers were closed by 7:30 camp pho at shut them down to clean it was told they were open to 8pm that was not the case that Sunday? Belive the camp host were leaving and they cheated us from a shower by closing them early, thats was the only down fall from this camping adventure. Camp sites are great secluded and was fun.

Showers are expensive at $8 for 8 minutes.... roadways need to be redone in the off season.... some spots have more shade than others.... Staff was very nice... campground was a beautiful place.. other guests were very friendly and engaging..... creek was awesome for swimming and playing ... the campground is dog friendly... the canyon is an awesome place to hike and explore....... I'm going to be booking for many summers of the foreseeable future ..

I really love this campground however its just overly packed during holiday weekend and a lot of the spots really is for tent only if they wont move the boulders to accommodate and an RV or a pool trailer or anything so the very hard to get in there without scratching your trailers, the website has updated as to which spot can accommodate an RV or a trailer. That would be my suggestion other than that place is beautiful. Its a great time to go during non-holiday weekend during the holiday people just trashed it up.

Very beautiful and peaceful. Campsite was very clean. Campground was full, was an occasional loud, but didn't bother us. Hosts were very nice. Will go be back.

This is a good campsite, but try to get the far-superior A21

Beautiful campsite! Gorgeous view and close to a watering hole and stream!
@MarkR9967928 · Camped on Jun 29, 2025
level sites on a paved pad for the vehicle. This was the weekend before the 4th of July and the campground was full. People playing music, being loud after curfew. Kinda the normal stuff you expect from a larger campground. My only complaint really that my site was downwind from a very fragrant restroom. I will return though with all of its faults.

Great camp, very well kept, the staff / hosts were super knowledgeable and available, each campsite was very spacious and clean, and the other campers were also very friendly. Excellent location as well.

Wow - amazing campground. Well taken care of, but overall just so picturesque with beautiful trees. Campsites are spacious and well spaced apart. Lots of trails nearby. Helpful visitor office staff.

Great location, friendly staff. Caught a few trout.The D sites are pretty close to each other. Almost feels like youre sharing a spot with strangers. Also, people leave their cars/trucks running at the sites for hours on end?If you go, try to get an F location for a little more room.

My family and I went camping from June 22nd to Wednesday, June 25th. The people next to us were making too much noise after 2:00 a.m. The people on the left made us feel very uncomfortable. It was a bad experience for my entire family.
@MatthewB318226 · Camped on Jun 22, 2025
Overall good experience. Little worried about my kids getting poison ivy going down to the creek to play.
@Dineshkum3D659 · Camped on Jun 21, 2025 at Campsite #A17
Highlight was the campsite A17 was across the creek and close enough by water made vault toilet

We camped on Site A16 for one night. It was one of only 2 sites remaining when I made reservations. On the positive side, it was level for tenting, close to the bathrooms which were well maintained and clean. Cave springs Campground is in close proximity to the West Fork of Oak Creek Trailhead. On the negative side the site had no grass on which to pitch our tent, just bear soil, which was a dust bowl when we were there. The dust stuck to the bottom and tracked into the tent. My suggestion is to upgrade campsites with a 12 by 12 gravel pad with wood ties to hold the gravel in place. This would be a relatively inexpensive and easy fix. It would be in line with other USFS campgrounds such as Black Canyon (Taos, NM) and Ponderosa (Payson AZ).

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
