This is such a glorious campground! So happy it has been kept in pristine condition over the years. Looking forward to returning in early June!

Tent camped for 2 nights for last weekend they were open end of October and it is a beautiful campground. I liked this campsite for the space and proximity to the restroom however, I know now not to book again so close to the creek/road because I could hear the traffic until way past midnight. It was still a great experience. The firepit is nice and deep. The staff at the store/check-in are super friendly and knowledgeable of the area and recommended hiking trails. West Fork is literally a 5-minute drive but unfortunately, there is no way to walk there from the campground which is disappointing. They had lots of good wood for only $8 a bunch and sold nice shirts/souvenirs/snacks. I definitely will camp here again.

Really enjoyed camping alone here. Felt very safe with a full campground. Was disappointed that the creek was very low and not swimmable and the hike just outside the campground was closed.

Nice campground on Oak Creek with lots of trees for shade. However, the roads within the campground are in terrible shape and the pull-ins for RVs/trailers are often on the wrong side or at an awkward angle, forcing campers into a lot of difficult, unnecessary maneuvering.

I hate giving a one-star review for such a beautiful campground but the staff here really needs to take better care of their PAYING customers. I waited over an hour (until their computer would start working) to purchase a first-come first-serve campsite, only to have it be occupied by someone else later when I came back after exploring. The night manager put me in another site, but told me that he thought something "looked suspicious" earlier when the other folks set up camp because he didn't recognize my car. Why not evict these people who invaded MY site that *I* picked out and paid for if you knew something was wrong?!?!?!? The fact that I had to go to another site that wasn't as nice as the one I picked out, and the fact that I hit my car on a rock backing into it because I couldn't see very well in this new unfamiliar site, is completely unforgivable, because all of this could have been avoided if these people had just DONE THEIR JOB and not let random people camp in a site that's already taken!! Who knows what else they let people get away with here!! I put my phone number on a comment card on my way out and told them to call me but they didn't, so that is just another example of how you are ignored if you show up and pay your money to these people. I advise anyone going to Sedona to beware of this campground, because even if you pay for a site you may not be guaranteed it later. Shameful and disgusting.

The camp hosts were excellent! We had to book two different reservations, thus we had two different sites for the four nights we stayed. Our tent was kind of big for the 2nd campsite and the hosts were very accommodating at letting us select another available site without hassle! They were great about keeping the place clean and even nicely asked people to shutoff their generators exactly at 9 pm. This is probably the first positive impression I have had with any camp host in any campground country wide! As for the campground, it is no joke that this place is popular on the weekends- think 4-10 people per site with some sites right on top of each other. Moreover, the online campground map is visually misleading and you can't get a good view of the campground layout on Google Maps either. It's basically a crap shot on how close your neighbors are going to be or how large your campsite will be. P.S. The skunks are very abundant as soon as the sun goes down!

We stayed in A14 it was an excellent site very big close to bathroom but not to close. Campground hosts were wonderful. Wish they had better bathrooms with regular toilets and sinks. Showers were not very good clean but small and dated. Otherwise campground is beautiful close to slide rock and Sedona. I will definitely be back!

Camp host Hugo and his wife were very nice people but there was one camphost ( I wish I remember his name) whos the total opposite. Mustache with eyeglasses. Arrogant with macho ego. Besides that, we loved Cave Springs, the river/creek, bunch of trees=shade, wide and clean campsites. They keep their toilets clean but still has awful smell it wakes me up at night. We were camped not too far from it the first 3 nights and moved to a campsite further away from it the last 3 days we were there. Also, the broken shower was inconvenient but not the hosts fault. Besides we didnt even know that there was shower until we asked where we could shower. Overall, I give them a 4. We had memorable stay.

Very nice, quiet location. Arrived at 8pm to our spot and the neighbors were already asleep. They gave us an earful the following morning about waking them up while we backed in our RV to the site. Quiet hours were 10pm so they were being a little dramatic. Spots are tight, w had a 32 ft RV and it took a bit of maneuvering to get in straight. Cute little creek in the area, along with lots of trees.

Bathrooms were very usable and welcome after a hot day. Our site was large but muddy and the table was pretty dirty. Otherwise, the campground was comfortable and the rangers were very helpful.
