Nice campground. My only suggestion is regarding the showers. An $8 token for eight minutes of shower time is more than most people need. How about a $5 token for five minutes of shower time?

Great campsite! The easy access to the creek was fantastic and our spot was clean and in a great area. We will come back next year and stay for longer! Park rangers were super friendly and helpful.

Was great however there are a few things they need to change. Why would you charge $20 for parking when you bring two vehicles. Also, I came here because of showers and you advertised that you have showers, well Im told it does not drain so its closed. The camp is full your making plenty of money fix it!!!

Park was quiet, restrooms maintained well, staff very helpful and good location for hikes and other activities. Our campsite was sandy and dont recommend sites in loop A. Robins calling at 4:30am every morning was unexpected but enjoyed them. Good campground

First check in. The guy was kinda rude and not very pleasant. Snarked at our comment that we were going to Slide Rock the next day. Our group had spots A9 and A12, which butt up to each other. Perfect for groups. A9 was right across from the bathrooms. Did get whiffs off the toilets often during the day. Bathrooms have locks that most people turn & lock from the inside, so most of the time all of the bathrooms were locked with no one in there. Not fun at 2 in the morning! All camp hosts (there's at least 5!) seemed to be off duty, and with that many hosts, cannot figure out why rotations to unlock bathrooms was not done more often. Overheard camp host yelling at another camper over something that could have been handled less loudly - giving the impression that ALL of the people that work there are rude. Did have access to the creek, which was good. Did have a lovely goodbye from the woman at the registration stand when we left...she was very nice.

The campground was well maintained with plenty of staff and trash cans. The hosts recommendation to visit the swimming hole by the creek on the backside of the F site loop was a great way to end the day after having visited Slide Rock park earlier in the day.

Clean and Semi-Secluded Campground. Nestled in Oak Creek Canyon. Very quiet. Only downside is the sites are very tight if you have a 5th wheel over 30ft. Pay showers if needed. Bathrooms clean and vented.

Stunning place! We arrived after dark and had a hard time finding our site, but this is an awesome place.

Our site was across from toilet facilities which were constantly being inadvertently locked by the previous users. Staff recognized they had a hardware problem but they resisted trying to mitigate the problem other than starting at 7 AM they would go around to unlock the doors which frankly was too late. Both camp hosts and staff could have and should have been willing to try a better temporary solution. Their signs weren't working. Most mornings before 7 AM only 1 of the 4 toilets were unlocked and usually had little or no toilet paper. I would consider this a problem. Otherwise the facility was well kept and other campers courteous. We had to dump black and gray water at Fort Tuthill county park campground near Flagstaff but staff and hosts didn't universally know this. That facility was excellent.

Very nice stay the only problem was barking dogs and campfires which bothered my asthma

Campground was fine. The problem is a lack of hiking accessible from the campground. AZ 89 is very busy and there are few places to park and access trail heads. The Oak Creek Canyon area is beautiful but the necessity of driving to see it is unfortunate.
