This campground has pretty strict rules, but the rules didn't include keeping generator use to a minimum. Our neighbors kept theirs on ALL day long.

The location of the campground is great, and our spot was visibly beautiful. The bathrooms are not well maintained at all, you can smell them no matter where you are, and using them is rough because of the smell. Weve used a lot of privies in the past and these were bad. Not a bad place for a one night stay.

Love the location! super clean, organized. access to drinking water. For those who want to camp, but dont be to isolated. A lot of families. Close to my favorite hike in West Fork trail. I am definitively coming back

Loved the location. The BIG problem is we were downwind 3 spaces from the toilets. The smell was hideous. Also the camp host came into our site one night acting a bit strange.....other than that it was a nice campground.

Campground was very clean. If you are looking for a place just to hang at at your camp spot this is it. Not much to explore by foot without driving somewhere. Big bummer was creek is totally overgrown and very small. Overall we enjoyed just hanging out.

Nice campground. Perfect and big parking area for the RV. Little bit of street noise but not too bad. Unfortunately no RV water fill or dumping.

It was our second stay at Pine Flat. The campground was still very clean. The hosts were welcoming and easy to work with. We love visiting this campground to enjoy all the green foliage and sit at the creek's edge to enjoy the water sounds. Yes, the traffic noise is noticeable. Yes, the pit toilets can get a little rank. If you want total peace and no smell, then you will have to find a place to do dispersed camping.

The campground overall was such a great experience! The campsite was clean, well laid out and very cozy. As first time campers, it was the perfect destination! The only two downfalls were the wind the night we stayed (uncontrollable), and it was also impossible to stake our tent down because the sand was very hard.

The camp host Brian and Sarah were very kind and keep that campground spotless. The environment is just beautiful and the people we met became friends. Fresh Oak Creek water right at the end of the campgrounds. We just love it there. Can't wait to camp there again.

Overall it was a great experience! While looking for campsites for tent camping on the recreation.gov website I got lucky and found a last minute cancellation at Pine Flats on a Sunday evening in mid September. Not being familiar with camping in Sedona I did not know what to expect and was a little wary of being overcrowded by RV's. At first I was a little turned off by the proximity to the widely used route 89A and the sound of cars whizzing by. Occasional whiffs of the bathroom facility wafted through, but fortunatly it was not consistent and the car noise died down at night. As for everything else it was fabulous. I discovered a part of the creek right behind the campsite which was beautiful. The campsite was nicely spaced from the adjacent sites with plenty of personal space. Wood for campfires and ice are sold onsite and the camp hosts were friendly and helpful. The campground is not that big and was quiet & campers were respectful. I would definately camp here again if the reservations weren't always booked! There are some first come first serve sites but I think the reserved sites have the creek behind them.

My favorite campground. No music allowed which makes it very peaceful and the camp host comes around on a golf cart often so you dont have to worry about loud parties or people running their generators all night. They also sell ice and firewood and will bring it to you on the golf cart. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean. My favorite part is that we are right up against the mountain so after 3 PM it is shaded and very enjoyable. The water is not deep but there is a shallow, beautiful & peaceful part of oak creek running right there (The kids love exploring). Only a few miles north of West Fork Trail so that is always a must for us. we have only ever chosen a site closest to the creek and away from the street. Its a perfect place to enjoy nature with out The scary annoying wildlife part (meaning that we have never had an insect, bug or pest problem & there are no bear boxes etc.)

Camp host was very helpful. He drove around every morning and said hi. Also asked if we needed anything. He even kept the loud family next to us in check. Bathrooms were clean and overall a very maintained campsite.
