Totally worth it, camping was perfect, in a lush green canyon with a river nearby can't get any better. The road at night can be a problem if you are a light sleeper, but in general between 10 and 5/6 traffic is nonexistent.

Bathrooms smelled bad. Overpowering odor even at the campsites most distant from bathrooms.

The stay was nice and quiet. Campsite was clean and the couple running the site were very friendly. One complaint though is that we were all on motorcycles and when I reserved it doesnt have motorcycles on list of vehicles. I considered room so paid two cars. Then we were charged extra for others. Put motorcycles on vehicles list.

Clean, great campsite. As noted by many others (and a Quick Look at GoogleMaps), the campground is right next to the road. Road noise really wasnt bad. I was a little nervous about encountering smelly bathrooms (due to reviews Id read), but the bathrooms were clean and without odor (seemed like the pits had been emptied recently).

It was a lovely spot! We were happy to be in cooler temperatures since it had been so hot in Sedona! The camp hosts were very nice and they had on site ice and wood available. Id say there were two things we didnt like- first, we would get the smells of the bathroom tanks that were not pleasant. They came and went, so perhaps when looking for a spot be on the north side of the bathrooms. The other was that starting around 4:30 AM you can hear the cars roaring through since youre literally right next to the hwy. Other than that the sites were big and we had a lovely time!

This is our favorite camp ground to stay at. Camp hosts are always helpful and bathrooms are kept clean. There are no showers at this campground but it's still a gorgeous spot.

It is loud with traffic passing by during the day and morning . No showers . Overall it was ok . It was clean and host was helpful. The big negative for me was the loudness of the cars driving by

Site I got was very close to the road - we can hear cars drive by during quiet hours

Beautiful setting, very clean, nice hosts who work hard to keep the campground in good working order. Very large campsites with plenty of level room for a tent in addition to a large parking area and picnic table with grill.

One negative is that it's right along highway 89 and there is a lot of traffic so can be noisy during the day. However it's very quiet at night.

I will return if the opportunity arises.

Campground was very clean, the hosts were always around, cleaning and answering questions. The only minus is that the campground is very close to the highway.

Campsites were nice and clean and pretty but the constant traffic just wore us out! Convenient for Sedona hiking etc, just think once is enough. Hosts were helpful and nice. Only gripe was the noisy traffic 24/7.

Good site but the camp hosts dont seem to have a clue. They run 2 sets of rules, theirs and the Forrest service rules. They demanded generators be turned off at 9 but could not provide me anywhere in writing or in rules where it stated that. Larry, one of the camp hosts had no clue about anything. Great spots but would probably not return until they get themselves together.

Great location in the Oak Creek Canyon area. A bummer about the campfire ban restrictions during summer but better safe than sorry. Campground is very close to the road, but also right along the creek. The host was very nice and the location was very clean. Toilets were very clean as well. Unfortunately the showers down the road at the neighboring campground were closed due to COVID, but the creek was an excellent alternative way to feel fresh.

The campground is clean, organized and easy to find and navigate. The location is absolutely stunning. It was pouring rain for our first night and our site drained admirably. My only complaint, and there's not really anything that can be done about it, is that it's proximity Highway 89A makes traffic noise an issue. Some of the other campgrounds in Oak Creek Canyon are able to be set back from the road and are a little quieter at night.
