Love the campsite # 21 and the other campsites on site were more shaded, a little small and the bathrooms a little too close to the campsite. you can smell the bathroom but overall had a good time. Good trails for hiking.

Nice campground. Good host. Very clean bathrooms - appreciated the lights inside. Our site wasnt the best due to being next to the bathroom and across from the host (not very private), but we chose it online which is always a gamble.

Beautiful campground. It would be helpful if some of the big rocks were moved farther off the road to help in maneuvering trailers into the spaces. Camp hosts were very nice.

While my reserved campsite was a bit small for my motorhome, the campground host was very helpful in finding a new space I could use. He was very sympathetic, active in his assistance. Lovely spot. We'll be back.

Had the time of my life camping at Pine Flats. PJ was absolutely the best host of a campground EVER! The sites were clean and could definitely tell the hosts take a lot of pride in this campground. It was a great home base for me to explore Coconino. Boynton Canyon was an awesome hike with features Ive never experienced on any other hike such as an energy vortex, ancient American ruins and art, the subway/keyhole cave, and I will definitely never forget the white haired gentleman wearing all white playing the flute halfway through the trail. Cant get anymore Sedona that!

The restrooms were the cleanest I've seen for a campground. Beautiful area.

Great overall experience! The campground is close to Sedona, but secluded enough to feel like youre actually camping. The camp hosts were wonderful and kept everything very clean. The sites are close to the road, but not many cars went by during the night to be bothersome.

Beautiful campground but our spot next to the latrine was pretty stinky. Glad we we were sleeping in a van and not a tent. Asked if we could move to another spot and there weren't any available and the camp host seemed pretty aggrieved by our request. And not very happy with her job. Find a spot well away from a latrine and you'll be happy!

Beautiful campground with good hosts. The campground had probably the cleanest vault toilets I've ever seen and wonderful views.

We had site #21 which was convenient because it was close to the restrooms and close to the entrance. We loved the lot we were at except for the fact that we were near the bathrooms, it was convenient to be close to the restrooms but the smell of it when the slight breeze came our way was not enticing. Our next visit we will look at another site location. Definitely will be back next year.

Nice space. We had site #21, close to the restroom and water hose. Had nice tree coverage for shade, large fire pit, the charcoal grill was a plus (even though we didnt use it, its nice to have the option). Friendly and clean space!

We had a good first two nights and paid for a third with the First Come/First Served campsites. We paid in advance and left the receipt on our campsite post. Upon returning that night we found the site occupied by new campers and after talking to the camp hosts we were given a spot to park our vehicle by the kiosk. The camp hosts in charge of the site had taken the day off and another set of camp hosts had mistakenly thought we weren't coming back and because we drive a van and don't leave stuff at our site (theft at camp sites has been bad this year) they thought we had abandoned it. They comp'd us two nights stay and found us a site at the last minute so we could have a fourth night but it was still unnerving. Word to the wise: make sure you let the camp host know you are coming back if you intend to return late in the evening after dinner when camp sites tend to be in high demand. And, leave something worthless at your site, like a sign or an old chair if you can. Its dog eat dog out there this spring and summer will probably be just as bad.

The campground itself is very nice, really clean bathrooms, very close to a ton of hiking in Sedona, however I would not stay here again. Especially not in a spot near the bathroom. It smelled so bad all day/night that we ended up leaving right before dinner one night early because we couldn't stand the smell anymore. Ive stayed at other campgrounds that I was close to the bathroom and it was never as bad as this campsite. Also be prepared to have cash upon check in. Due to a work scheduling conflict we had to take two cars camping (there was still only four people so nothing that required a second site). Everyday at 1 pm the camp host came around to collect an additional $10 for the second car. I know many campgrounds say they will charge for a second vehicle but I've never had a camp host actually do that for such a small group.
