Great location and not a large campground. I do wish the generator hours we more limited. The sound is so annoying.

The campsite is really close to the bathroom, while convenient, also stinky at times. When the wind blows you may catch a whiff and its not pleasant. The second downside of being this close to the bathroom is that theres a bright light that shines all night long, pretty much ruining star gazing. It also made it difficult to fall asleep as the light shined right through my tent. Other than that, it was good.

It's terrible that I have to leave a 2 star review. This little campground is gorgeous. Sedona needs more campgrounds. Plus the free flowing artesian well is located at the end of it. But... here's the problem. The vault toilets need some kind of maintenance. Maybe the stuff RVs use. The STENCH was appalling. And it became worse Monday morning when the truck came to pump the waste. We threw all our stuff in our truck and left ASAP. Please please do something about the vault toilets. The smell really was horrific. We saw other people pack up and leave too.

This campground is located right along the road, but gets quiet at night. Well spaced, level tent pads, picnic table, bar-b-que grill, fire pit and lantern hooks on a tall pole at the site. Trees for nice shade and gets shady early as you are in a narrow canyon. Many areas to hike close by. Helpful and friendly camps hosts.

We absolutely loved staying at Pine Flat Campground between Flagstaff and Sedona. We camped in April 2024 for 3 nights starting on their opening weekend. It was the perfect location to get away from the busy tourist town, while being close enough to easily go on adventures and explore the area! The camp hosts were AMAZING. We loved chatting with them and felt they truly cared about making the campground an enjoyable spot for all. The campsites were spread out nicely with plenty of space between each site. I've camped in a wide variety of campgrounds and the bathrooms can always be a guessing game as to what you're getting yourself into, but I felt surprised at how clean they kept the vault toilet bathrooms and that they had lighting in them! Sometimes the little things make a big difference haha! Because the campground is right by the main road going in/out of Sedona, you will hear traffic, but at night it's usually very minimal. The views were gorgeous -- we loved the canopy of tall trees and view of the rocks. There was a little water flowing in the creek below, which was a nice addition as well. Overall it was a beautiful place to call home for the 3 nights we were there!

The camp hosts at pine flat were awesome and kept the grounds very clean and well maintained. They were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. Having the creek behind our campsite also made the experience worth while.

We have camped in National Parks all over the west for decades. This is one of the cleanest, nicest, well run campsite we have ever been to. Even the vault bathrooms were spotless, well lit and no flies or bugs inside. We will definitely camp here again.

Lovely spot away from the traffic and busyness of downtown Sedona. Camp hosts were very helpful, friendly, and organized. Great spring fed drinking water. Many trails nearby and flagstaff historic downtown had nice shops and character.
We had a wonderful time! The camp host Dustin was super helpful and pointed out the natural spring at the end of the campground to drink at, and a few hikes nearby! Bathrooms are pit toilets and very clean. Supposedly campsite 13 has the strongest vortex energy! Enjoy!
