Always a great time at the island! Love that the cabins are getting upgrades in appliances, windows, stairs, and exterior! Definitely needed it! The views are impeccable! Have been coming here for years! Will be back!

Me and my kids stayed in this one for two nights. The toilet will clog with just water flushing if you arent careful. At least it would for us. The water heater should be called a water warmer. It doesnt really get too hot, maybe a tad above lukewarm. Otherwise, the cabin did its job. The beds are comfortable enough and much better than the ground. The cabin kept out the wind and let us spread out enough for three adults. The island is the real attraction though so the cabin was a bit player in this fishing trip.

These cabins are always surprisingly nice. Hot water in the shower worked great. Bed was actually quite comfortable. Even the ranger on the island that checked our fishing licenses was quite friendly.

Cabin 8 was great, this was my first visit to the Island and it was amazing. Definitely will be back for a longer stay to allow more time to fish and enjoy the island more. Perfect weather in March!

Wonderful trip to Cape Lookout and a great stay in the Cabin. Just the right mix of rugged camp and sturdy shelter from the elements.

The absolute best time spent with family. Ready to go back.

Just what we needed. Staff has always been amazing. Cabins are a good price for what you get. This year there are an abundance of paper wasp both tent camping and cabins. But we have stayed here on the island 90 days this year between the whole group and not one of us has been stung. We are done for the season but will be back next year

Reserving cabin 20 was easy and its real close to the ranger shack where you can get ice, and real close to the showers, upon arrival be prepared to deal with a little sand, brooms provided. this cabin has an 8ft and 6ft table and folding chairs, 4 bunk beds and a nice restroom, tp provided. we brought a Honda 2200 which ran the lights and hot water heater with no issues. also, if you plan to use the gas stove, don't forget to bring pots and pans to cook with. The only downside to this cabin is the location is right near the ranger shack, so you do have some traffic off and on, really didn't bother us. overall great experience.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
