I really loved this campground. The only thing Id let people know is how close some of the sites are. The photos do not show this. We stayed on site 19 and site 18 was about six feet from us. These two would be good buddy sites if you were in need of that. There are definitely some sites that are better than that. But overall, it was clean, quiet. Bath house was good as well. We will definitely be back, just in a different site.

When we arrived at our campsite number 28, there were two cars parked on our site. Found out they belonged to the campers on site 29. There were four adults and seven kids and bikes and toys strewn all over their site. They did kindly remove their cars for us. The next day we left for the day to go explore the area, when we returned. Their two cars were again parked on our site. And again they kindly removed them. It appeared they actually had 4 cars plus their RV. The sites at the campground were very close and crowded. There were lots of kids. If you prefer peace and quiet and a bit of seclusion, I would not recommend this campground.

Had a great time stayed at site 44 the only complaint I had was the water connection had a leak and got half my site wet. I do wish the sites had poles of something to hang lights or lantern. But these are minor things I love this camp ground.

Weve camped here for 12 years, and the new Campground host is awful, she doesnt need to be at a campground thats kid friendly! She harassed not only my camp but 4 other peoples! I wont be back if they dont change campground host.

Campground was in great shape for opening weekend. Bathhouses are always clean. Nice having a campground host. Hiking trails are nearby...try the Blue Heron Loop. It won't disappoint

As always, Blue Heron never disappoints. November camping is very quiet, very few campers but everyone is friendly. We love the falling leaves and the sunny days. Campground is always well maintained and the staff at the nearby work HQ keep an eye on everything. We love it here! This is our 6th years camping at Blue Heron.

We took a group of 12 JROTC cadets camping at the Blue Heron Campground on November 3-4. We reserved a total of 4 spots, camped in tents, and embraced the 34 degree overnight low. The campground was 1/2 mile from the Blue Heron Loop which we hiked on the 4th. The campground was perfect for us, and I would do it again.

We enjoyed our stay here. Site had a downward slope at the entrance but with a smaller camper you can level out at the end near the hookups. It had water and power and a dump station. Campground was near the Blue Heron mine community area and near the 6 1/2 mile Blue Heron Loop Trail. It was clean and quiet in October. There wasn't a camp host and I never saw any staff, maybe due to the federal shutdown, but everything was clean and maintained.

Close to Blue Heron Mining Camp. A lot of history to see and learn about. Quiet campground.

Nice small campground. I love that the dish washing sink for tent campers is well maintained. The bear boxes to store coolers and food stuff is a big convenience.

Great little campground. Clean bath house with great showers. 30amp sites are short, but the lengths are listed in the reservation system. Pay attention to lengths. 50 amp sites are a little longer.Great access to several trails near by and the mining town was a good visit.

Paved RV sites in a variety of lengths; most are back in, but a few are pull-thru. The electric and water connections we observed were in good condition. Two negatives: The roads in the campground have extremely nasty speed bumps; There is only one road in and it is narrow with steep grades, very sharp curves, and extreme drop-offs.

The campgrounds were nice. We just picked the wrong time to stay there. We thought there wouldn't be many people there and we got stuck next to some campers with very loud kids until 11pm and the people never stopped talking. We were also hoping to at least see a black bear and we didnt

The campground was sooooo loud until late at night and then again super early in the morning. Kids screaming on bikes and riding around at 630 in the morning. Bright lights from many of the campers flooded the campground most of the night and made stargazing basically impossible. I wouldnt go back.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
