Loved waking up to horses chatter and the space between trailers was a good distance didnt feel like we were on top of each other,Rest rooms are clean everyone seem to take care of of the camp and keeping it clean cant wait to come back oh and lots of trails just watch out for the lovely horses

We stayed on site 12 which has a pens for the horses to stay in which was great. We havent been to this camp in two years because of bad experience with the metal stall horses had to stand in. The camp was very clean but had several non horse campers in it riding bicycles. The trails had several trees down but able to cross over. The trails had a lot of number 4 rocks on them which is very bad for horses feet so if have tender foot horses need have pads or boots. .

Clean, quiet, & great bathrooms with hot water! Our only complaint is that we thought each campsite would have a bear vault, ours did not.

Great location with direct access to miles of riding trails! Our horses loved the new stalls that have been added to several sites. The bathrooms and showers were well maintained. We will definitely be back!

Campsites were large easy to pull into and clean. I like the fact that there paddocked panels rather than stanchions for the horses to stand. I like really like that the trails are right next to the camp.

Very nice horse camp great trails , well maintained.The bath house was clean and stocked well. The new horse pens are great. Much safer than the tie stalls for horses that want to lay down

First visit, small and quiet campground. This site was pretty private but it does back up to a horse trail which was neat to watch the horses. We didn't have any horses, which was fine. Level site. We'd return.

Nice campground but a bit noisy in the morning.

Ladies' room needs attention. Please put a simple picnic bench along wall (outside of showers) so we can put our stuff and keep our clothes dry. I had to put my bag of clothes on top of a sink to keep it off floor. There are 2 showers separated by curtains that face each other with a set of hooks in between. So hanging stuff there gets wet. I had to put bag on top of sink and hope it didn't fall into the wet sink (or on the wet floor). Also the right-hand (non-handicapped) shower leaked into the middle part of floor where the hooks are, and also was leaking into main floor outside shower. There were more RV campers there than horse campers when I went and it's difficult enough to find horse camps as it is, and very disappointing to see that non-equine folks were camping there. There's plenty of RV camping in Big South Fork, please leave the horse camps to those of us with horses that cannot camp in an RV campground. My site was nice and although somewhat challenging to back in due to a drop-off on the right as I was backing in, and also had to negotiate an uphill on the left when backing in as well as negotiating the curve. WIthout a second set of eyes it took me a while although I did eventually get in. Enjoyed the new corral panels that the Back Country Horsemen volunteered their time. I was expecting mostly dirt trails and there were large distances of 2 inch rock on the trails (quarry rock, not woods rock). However the 2-inch driveway rock (on a 12 mile ride, about 1/2 of that ride was on quarry rock) was unexpected and not enjoyable. Some folks said they thought that the rock would be covered over with crusher run (make it more friendly horses' hooves, a couple horses wound up with stone bruises due to that rock ) although I won't be going back until/if that happens. The woods trails were kind of ruined with that rock, aesthetically speaking.

The campground was very well maintained, beautiful grounds. The addition of the panel stalls were the best thing ever!! The trails were well groomed, I just wish there wasn't so many rocks.

Camping spot was clean, quiet and very relaxing and peaceful. Just minutes from town and lots of shopping. Trails was very clean. Will return again before summer is over this year.

Very nice and well kept campground. Very secluded and peaceful. Immediate connection to several trails is a plus. Fifteen minute drive to Onieda allows for a quick drive into town. Some sites are tight and close to others. While others have a nice spread out appearance. AT&T service is 1-2 bars. Wifi by the bathhouse is a definite plus. There wasnt a host or firewood available during our stay. Recommend picking up your firewood prior to setting up camp.

Great campsite! Great service by the park service personnel. However, I have to take a star away because they wanted to kick us our last night due to the single digits coming our last night. Because they needed to "winterize" the hot bath houses. They have to winterize the hot bath houses when it gets that cold because the building has no skirt around it keeping the pipes from freezing. Kinda self defeating to build a hot bath house that can't handle cold temperatures. Great place to camp when it's cold unless it's too cold. Too bad. The wifi was also useful here since Verizon is less than one bar. I could only get a text or two without it. Though, AT&T service there is decent.

It was December, 20 degrees, and snowing so we were the only ones at the campground. The spaces were nice and the bathhouse was clean and warm. No host on site but a ranger did a drive through in the morning. I'd stay again for sure.

Love the new corral panel stalls on site 12 for stalls, but we were the only ones there because all the other sites have those awful tie racks so its kind of creepy being there by yourself, especially when somebody drives through headlights your camper around midnight. Id feel safer if they were more corral panel stalls there for more horse people to camp. Beautiful place, shame about the tie stalls.

Beautiful site in a beautiful campground in a beautiful park! This site had trouble with the 30a power, but we were able to use the 15a.

Campground and bath house very nice and Horseback riding trails are great.

Great scenery on the trails, especially along the river. Trails had a couple of trees across the trail since storms had recently occurred. Campground is nice and bathhouse is in good shape. As equestrian campers, we liked the horse panels that were at our site to replace the old stanchions. I hope the stanchions at the other sites in the campground are replaced with the panels in the future. We will be back next year!

The sites were very well maintained . New rubber padding for stantions would be nice for horses.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
