The camp host did a fantastic job. The bathrooms and pay station was well maintained. Hiking and kayaking was really great. I dont fish but watched others catching fish both from the shore and from boats. The wildlife was fun to watch too.The campsite was quiet and peaceful even during a busy holiday weekend.I would look for an alternative camp ground if I had small kids, seemed like they wouldnt have to wonder far to lose sight of them. This same feature seemed to help give the feeling of privacy between sites.

This campsite is so cute! It's right by the lake and it looks like there are a lot of access points from campsites to the lake. Marshall, the camp host, does an amazing job of keeping everything tidy and helping out guests with firewood to purchase, getting water, etc. The cleanest, most consistently stocked vault toilets I've ever seen. The well water was delicious!! And, of course, the scenery was gorgeous. Everyone was friendly and we had a great time! I'll definitely keep this campsite on my list for summer camping!

Great hosts who kept bathrooms clean and checked in with campers occasionally.

Well organized campground on a beautiful lake. Facilities were clean.

Beautiful, quiet campground. Found a nice first come first serve spot. Spent time kayaking and exploring the area. It's located close to many hikes, waterfalls and hot springs. The lake itself is an unbelievably clear blue and we had so much fun exploring. We brought a 10 gallon water jug so we didn't have to worry about going to the few water spigots often. Vault toilets were not too terrible and we could see the staff restocking them with air freshener and tp everyday. We would love to go back soon!

This is a truly beautiful site, but the stand out for us was definitely the on-duty manager, Marshall (sp?). He gave us tremendous recommendations that made our stay far more enjoyable than if we were just "winging it". He was super helpful, generous and knew lots about the surrounding area and attractions.

Clear Lake was pristine, and the waterfalls trail hike is a must do.

The scenery was phenomenal. It was very clean and quiet. The lake is stunning and the camping spot was clean and the same for the bathrooms.

Cold Water Cove (Clear Lake and campground) as always, is quite wonderful. What I had issues with, was how to sign up properly and there are no camp hosts to ask questions of anymore. They want you to have an app on your phone to do things with. I don't really want another app, and would have had to get it before going there . We did however, have some phone reception there, for the first time ever (we are now with T-Mobile). Still none at the cabins on the other end where the majority of our party was though.

Clean. Portable water was different.

Wonderful time at Cold Water Cove, loved our spacious site...the only downside, is that there are not many places to sit by the lake. Lovely all the same.

Not sure how we could have known, but access to the Blue Pool was closed during our entire trip. Was one of the main activities planned. Unfortunate. But the rest of the trip was awesome as always. Been going here for many years and always have enjoyed the time.

Campgrounds was attended and cared for. My reserved site was marked with my name, easy to find. Correctly assumed that bathrooms didn't have water, so definitely bring hand sanitizer and your own water! My group went out onto the loop to stargaze since it was a clear night. Aside from the occasional campsite with string lights or bright lanterns set up, it was a great view of the stars where the trees open up. We went fishing on Clear Lake in the morning to catch trout.

We had beautiful weather! The campground was clean which Im sure had a lot to do with Marshals hard work! Marshal was very sociable, outgoing & informative with answerour questions. We did the Falls hike, the hike around Ckear lake and Blue Pool..all fantastic & must do in this area. I was surprised with a full campground how quiet our surroundings were. We lucked out on finding a great first come first serve site on on a Tuesday as this is a popular area!

The campground is in a very beautiful area- the lake is gorgeous, beautiful mature forest, with nice trails around the lake through interesting lava flows and to nearby spectacular waterfalls on the McKenzie River. The campground was maintained well by Linn County- very clean pit toilets, good operating pump wells for water (with terrific tasting water!) and clean sites. Nice little boat ramp in the day use area. The campground is small and very quiet. It is 1-2 miles from the cabins and lodge at the other end of the lake.Our campsite (#7) was a bit small and cramped, and was quite close to another neighboring site. There were that were others that were very large and private. Worth checking out and reserving early....

Gorgeous site. Nice long, flat driveway. Super shady. Table is on a cement pad which was glorious. Bathrooms were very clean the entire weekend. Noise levels very controlled with everyone shutting down by 10pm every night-always nice when you sleep in a tent:) Water pump is far away and down hill so bring a wagon if your filling large buckets! We had T-Mobile and had service the entire time. The best thing.we saw NO mosquitos. The worst thing.zero beach access to the lake so dont plan to have a lake side day. Ideal for hikes and launching SUPS but not hanging out.

The photos are a bit deceiving. This spot is right out in the open. No privacy but it's next to a road that doesn't get much traffic so it was fine. Most spots in this loop aren't private but the close proximity to the boat launch is great. Campground is clean and the bathrooms aren't too far away. There is no camphost. There is someone who drives around at about 11am but that was the only time we saw someone. You have to drive to the resort if you need wood.

While a pretty forested campground roads are narrow as well as sites... We hauled a small travel trailer and the site I booked the driveway was backwards to what it should have been. Had to drive around and come in going the wrong way on the road and had to leave the same way. Would have Jack knifed the trailer if we hadn't. Clean vault toilets no showers. While pretty area won't come back

We had a great campsite with a view of the lake. The campsite was clean and it was easy to set up our trailer.We kayaked Clear Lake and in the evenings watched osprey as they tried to capture fish.

Area and Campground environment, excellent as always.

Single pump per camping loop can mean water is a significant walk away. No camp host, no firewood. Bathrooms ran out of toilet paper in the morning but were restocked within a few hours. Dense trees, plenty of privacy.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
