We love Clear Lake and camping at Cold Water Cove, and have for several years. We were impressed with the current camp host and their care of the restrooms. Some times in the past, the pit toilets have not been well cleaned, and cared for and were not very nice to use. This time they were cleaned at least twice daily, well supplied and not bad for pit toilets. We were in site 19, and it was clean when we arrived. Thanks to the present host for all his hard work. Be sure to rent or bring your own non motorized boat to see this unusual and beautiful lake. DA from Florence, ORAug. 2023

Site is difficult to get into. There's a curb right in front of the site. The pad is rather narrow. I don't see how you'd fit a 30ft and vehicle in the space. The landing is small and you have to go down hill to get to the fire pit and picnic table. We left after the first night.

We were only able to reserve one night, but it was worth it! Our spot was really private, compared to some of the others. Will camp again next summer.
