The pit toilets were the cleanest they have been in all of my many years to visit. There was no host available to talk to however.

You will want to bring your Kayak or SUP, however water is extremely cold! There is a trail around the lake, but no signage. Recommend checking out the Clear Lake Resort nearby, and getting on the water early in the day to see the clearest parts of the lake. Great hiking 1 mile from the campground on the McKinsey River Trail, seeing multiple waterfalls and the Blue Pool. We did not have cell service at all here (Verizon).

Been coming to this campground for 35 years...never disappoints.

Something to be aware of is that many of the sites are not level or are on a noticeable incline. While the site may accommodate a trailer of a given length, in reality it might turn out to be more suitable for tent camping

The campsite I reserved was right in the middle of some very crowded campers. Very open.

Moved to a first come site that was much better but had to eat the cost of the reservation.

Otherwise it was quiet at night and well maintained. The trail around the lake is gorgeous and the resort and boat rentals so much fun.

Great campground. Lake is nice. Close proximity to McKenzie River trail and easy hike couple miles to Koosah Falls

Such an amazing lake to kayak I'll definitely be back lots of nearby hikes to water falls and blue pool should not be missed. Bathrooms and campsites were very clean and the hosts were amazing and knowledgeable of local area.

Many sites are not fit for trailers and RVs so beware when reserving. I love this campground overall. It's very quiet and Clear Lake is our favorite for kayaking. The resort area can get crowded on the weekends but the campground end is quieter.
