After all these years, I had to give up trying to get into a first come, first served site because ofmy experience last yearso this year I reserved #26 for the first time. I missed not getting to be in #27 or #28 (our favorite first come, first served sites), but #26 has a very long driveway, which was great for our trailer length and two cars, and maybe a third car even?!?! With me being there for two weeks, and family coming and going, and some coming and going again over the two weekends (!) the size of site #26 was great! Two straight days of continuous rain on the first weekend wasnt fun, but we got through it, and of course we enjoy the green it produces! Clear Lake has been part of my familys experience all of my life, as well as my siblings and cousins lives! Our parents brought us here to camp and fish even when we were babies. Now our oldest camper is 93, and still showing up each June! Hopefully, site #26 will be the one we can reserve for next year.Oh, and thanks to the Linn County sergeant, I mean camp host, who made sure we parked correctly, but taught us to always carry a roll of toilet paper to the outhouse! See you next year, Lord willing.

Hosts were very nice, bathroom clean, nice feeling to campground, great access to lake. We’ll visit again.

I wish I could give this 1 star and somehow maker it a hidden gem.... But alas, it's 5 star quality. The lake is stunning, clear, cold and well stocked with trout. We stayed in site 26, it was a short walk to the bathroom, water pump and boat launch and it was spacious for tent camping. Summer camping at it's best with warm days and cool nights, we stayed Aug 11-15.

The bathrooms were not cleaned. There was not toilet paper most of the trip. No firewood on sight to buy. The camp host left. I think the price is kinda high for no electricity, or water on sight. I don’t like that there’s absolutely no cell service. In case of an emergency you can’t get ahold of anyone.

We love this location and have been coming here every year. However, the campground has become increasing popular and rules are no longer being enforced causing the once peaceful and quite campground to become a anything goes free for all. We had multiple nights of loud campers carrying on until midnight, the day use area was full with cars parked on the sides of the road backed up into the campground (most without paying), campsites with 4-5 cars parked in the dirt/bushes, dumpsters overflowing, toilets were "cleaned" once a day (maybe, and no toilet paper) and worst of all, there was one camper roaming the campground with a chainsaw cutting firewood for himself. I addressed the woodcutting with the host and Forest Service and was told by both that there was nothing they could do. Sad to say, but I don't think we'll be coming back until the rules are enforced and this can once again become the quite and peaceful campground it should be.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
