We stayed at Midway to be close to the Silos in Waco. The individual sites, for the most part, are easy to level out and paved. Full hookups worked well. The Restrooms/ Showers facilities were very unclean and definitely need work. All in, wed stay again, but plan on not using the restrooms, as its well within the range of an Uber to Waco .

The park has so much potential to be great; however, its extremely run down and over grown. The trees need to be trimmed for large RVs to navigate through the park without scratching, the grass is so tall and over grown around almost all of the spaces. We enjoyed how quiet it was and easily accessible, but the gate closing at 10pm makes things difficult for those staying in town for HEART O TEXAS.

We were there late September and were able to get a site right on the lake. It was very clean and easy to back into the large area. We had a wonderful view of the sunsets. The only downside was the mosquitos but that's anywhere in Texas. We'd love to go back!

We love Midway. Very quiet and lots of trees with shade. They have a few spots that include sewer. Not far from home and sometimes I will at the last minute say lets go camping and am able to get a spot. Happy camping .

We had spot 28 which is the corner spot and a pull thru next to the entrance, its a 50amp which worked out great for our 32 coach, it also had the sewer dump at the same hook up which was great, the spots are real close together but the view of the lake was ok and its walking distance for fishing, we didnt like the noise from the highway 6 traffic which made it difficult to watch tv outside or have conversations because at times it would be to loud. It is convenient for anything you want to see in Waco. We would stay again.

The grounds are not well maintained. There is also a barricade so you can not come and go after 10pm which greatly effected our plans for a football game. Will not be staying there again.

Perfect weather, only issue we're squirrels dropping pecans all over our camper, and camp sites. Perhaps animal management in store.

A clean, quiet and well-maintained place to camp in Waco. The concrete pad sites are level, with nice picnic tables and grills, fantastic shade trees and ample spacing between sites. We enjoyed easy access to the boat ramp and great paddling on the lake. Midway's staff was helpful and host campers were friendly.The downtown convention center is just 15 minutes away. We also visited nearby local attractions, Mammoth National Monument and the Magnolia Silos. Lacy Point trail access on Lake Waco is excellent for hiking and biking. The Waco Wetlands also has excellent trails.We visit Waco ever year for a weeklong convention and will always stay at Midway!

All though it rained all weekend we enjoyed the stay. Very nice park with large trees and plenty if space. We have a large 5th wheel so lot 21was not ideal (site not level) and steep. We made it work so overall a great stay!

The campground is quiet with lots of trees and a friendly staff. The sites are fairly level and are very long for campers, boats and cars. Some sites have a pavilion over the picnic table, a grill and a fire pit. The lake was really only accessible by boat but that's ok as I was there for other reasons. Verizon service was ok and I was able to stream YouTube but did not try to do much more. About 17 minutes to downtown and there is a mall and lots of restaurants close by. Highly recommend and I will be back.

Campground itself is very nice. Shady spots are good for summer. Access to lake and to surrounding cities is very good.

We love Midway for the location. It is close to family and easy access to downtown. What is distressing to us is the fact that it is not kept up. The park had obviously not been mowed for months. The grass was over a foot high making it very difficult to hook up water and sewer. We cant understand why they have let this park go downhill. The gravel area with the picnic table was overrun with weeds, and the fire pit was upside down and unusable. Very sad.

We stayed in a tent at Midway Park spot 25 and didn't realize that the area where we set up our tent was covered in poison ivy. Needless to say we had to get a steroid shot, antibiotics, and creme for the numerous red spots all over our bodies. Also the restrooms were not kept clean over the weekend and no toilet paper replace. Otherwise the camp was fine.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado
