Midway Campground in McLennan County is located just 11 min southwest of Waco, TX with an elevation of 507 feet. There are a total of 37 campsites including 32 boat sites. The campground is open all year. 32 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 68 and 122 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 32 sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $16.00 to $42.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, swimming, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

The campground needed some TLC, but the views were beautiful. You cannot drive into the campground after 10, even if youre a paying camper.

The campground was alright. There are no trails for extended walking. The road noise was annoying when trying to sleep. My dogs and I had an almost tragic experience with a rattle snake. If you want to just have someplace to park for a couple of days, then this would do. Not one I would care to visit again.

We stayed at Site 8 which was fine except it was very close, about only 6 feet, from Site 7. The online park site map is not to scale and there were no paper maps at the gate house which is closed. The camp host was helpful. We love Midday Park but it needs some TLCpainting and mowing.

We came in campground had truck problems and Aleyia,the park staff were very helpful in extending are stay while are truck was being repaired. The camp host also checked in on us often to make sure we were all right as we had no transportation. We are from Michigan. I would stay there again.

Site was level ( number 33) beautiful sunsets however grass was high and needed mowing and dumpster could have been placed further away from campsite. Road noise was prevalent at all times during the stay but not so bad during the night

We were only there for one night. We had #2. Beautiful view of the lake. Traffic was actually noise was actually not that bad at night. I would stay again if back in the area

Site 32, the sewer hookup is at the very back of the site, so be aware. Grass was grown up around it, but that's because of the gov shutdown I assume. Highway noise is an issue, so be aware. Otherwise we like staying here but prefer to be at the back instead of up front by the highway. Camp hosts here are always very friendly.

Very easy access into park. Site 5 was level, some sites required a little more of a challenge to back into but were mostly level once into the set up area. Spacing was very good. Park was very clean and well maintained. Sunsets were amazing.

The pull through are not designed for a motorhome pulling a car, if you want full hookups. You must unhook. Also, it is too close to the expressway and lots of noise. If you intend to use the pull through make sure you make a wide turn to the left just passed the guard shack in order to turn back to the right and miss the trees.The good points were level pads, full hookups, and price. Also it is well maintained.

Very nice park. Some traffic noise but not problematic. Sites by the water are a little close together; if you were sitting outside you'd be looking right at each other since the sites are slightly angled in order to see the water. Convenient spot to visit Waco. I'd stay there again.

Our stay was only for one night but appears comfortable for a longer stay. Nice spot on the water. Back in sight (07) with easy access. Needed to level side to side but not drastic.
