Park was very quiet for as many people was there. Needed to be mowed grass was tall.

Weather was not good but park is nice. Most sites are lake view. Stayed in site 7 and had plenty of room for 40 foot camper.

Only stayed overnight passing through but the campground is a gem. Our 39ft Class A motorhome fit neatly in spot #7 backing in. Level pavement with nice view of Midway Lake. Very low road noise. 30amp power good for November. Smooth check in process. Easy on/off main road. Excellent value.

This was a beautiful park! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back the next time we are in Waco. The location was close to town. The staff were friendly. The only downfall was no wi-fi, but our hotspots worked just fine. Even though our site was very tight for our 45' fifth wheel, we got in with no problems and even though there were trees everywhere, they were trimmed perfectly. We had no issues and the site was very spacious. Each site has it's own covered picnic area. There is plenty of park and green space to play and run the dogs. The lake view was nice. Water level was low so it was muddy by the lake, unless you go to the boat launch area. Nice hiking trails nearby too. Definitely can't beat the price either. We love the COE for providing parks like this!!

Midway park is always a reliable favorite. This time the grass couldve used some mowing, but overall the park was nice and clean. I dont recommend spot 9 unless you have a short RV and all the good spots are only 30 amp. The 50 amp spots are up by the road with minimal shade.

Beautiful campground. Showers were out of commission during my stay but the views and the quality of the campsite was very good!

I think that yall should do some well needed maintenance on this park. Most every site that Ive been to needs the electrical posts replaced. Most of them are burnt up and need attention. Also the roofs over the picnic tables are all falling apart! I dont understand why these few things have not be fixed! Its such a nice park and yall have let it go...

The sites are great. People at the gate were extremely helpful. Bathrooms needed some fixing.

Don't let the price fool you it is a nice campground in great proximity to Waco. Waterfront sites had great views of the lake and spectacular sunsets.

Enjoyed 4 day stay at Midway. Site was clean and maintained. Our lot, #7, was pretty level with shade trees. Mens restroom in need of repair/maintenance. Easy access to Hwy 6.
