Had spot 5 in Midway. It was supposed to have 30 amp and 50 amp service but it was just 30. Need to let people know that. It was not a problem for use I have adapter for 50 to 30. Spot was clean.

On our way to Pennsylvania so only stayed one night but have stayed many times. Happy to see the water levels were up from 2 years ago. Last time we stayed, shoreline was exposed with excessive amount of trash. Missed opportunity for park to clean up debris. I personally picked up several trash bags full because I love this park. Sites are clean. We had nice view of lake.

Best showers we have encountered at a campsite! We only spent one night here but it was a quiet campground that was lovely on the water with wonderfully clean and warm/hot showers. Would stay here anytime passing through Waco!

This was our 1st time camping at Midway and we were very impressed with the campground. The sites were big and most of them shady. The sites were all paved with plenty of room to park. The showers were big with plenty of hot water. We will definatly camp there again.

The park is a wonderful location, close to Waco and has good amenities.

This campground and park are in a good location on Lake Waco close to the City of Waco. The campsites were good. We stayed in two different spots. Both had ample driveways, but not all had sun shelters. I would say that the biggest negatives for the park is the road noise from the bridge, and that the bathroom did not have a heater for showering, or hand soap for washing hands after going to the bathroom. Both of the bathroom issues seemed to be no brainers for any campground.Also, we heard that SpaceX has a testing facility north of the park, and when they are testing the rocket engines, it is very loud and shakes the ground. It is apparently 30 miles away, but it is crazy how far the sound and vibration carries. Not the fault of the park, but just to be aware that it is not an earth quake.

Nice waterfront site that needed a bit of leveling. Loved watching the crane and road runner. Some road noise, but not bothersome. Grocery store close as well as sight seeing places.

When we arived it was obvious that the park personnel did not make sure the site was clean. The folks who were there before us had left a big rubber boot and some kids shoes. We had to clear the site ourselves.

Bathroom was very clean, and the grounds were tidy. There are a lot of deferred maintenance items, like picnic table coverage structures, that are missing, so bring your own canopy.

The woman that checked us in was so kind, and site 5 had a lovely view of the lake. Unfortunately, the restrooms were not very clean, but we made due for one night stay!

The staff was courteous and helpful. The park and area were clean. Our view was to die for. Loved watching the birds around the lake and the evening sunsets. One of our all time favorite camping spots.

Awesome place! Sites are nice and spread out. We had a beautiful view of the lake. An owl flew up and sat in the tree beside us to watch the fire. We will return.

Our first time staying at a Corp of Engineers campground, and we were impressed. The sites here are very spacious, and our specific site was fairly level. There was a table, fire ring and small grill, plus some sites have a cover over the table. The restrooms were clean and there is a playground for the kids. The employees with whom we interacted were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely come back here.

We were encouraged to collect firewood from their brush piles. Great for saving money. The lots some had covered tables some were being repaired. Our site was 1/2 inch off side to side. About 3 inches front to back. So mostly level. Restrooms were clean. Traveling to POI was not difficult.

The campground is a nice stop when driving from Houston to Dallas however the facilities are somewhat outdated.

The facility had nicely spaced campsites in a beautiful well-shaded area along the lake shore. The personnel were all incredibly enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. The sites were extremely well maintained. Proximity to all the sights of Waco was very convenient!
