Yegua Creek Campground, TX - Latest Reviews, Photos & Campground Map
Yegua Creek Campground in Burleson County is located 42 min southwest of College Station, TX with an elevation of 264 feet. There are a total of 81 campsites including 15 tent-only sites. The campground is open all year. 62 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 30 and 104 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 62 sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $20.00 to $30.00. Some amenities include shower. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.
Due to the freezing temperatures and winter weather, we will be forced to shut off the water to all campsites to prevent burst pipes. The water will remain off to the campsites, dump station hose, and the restroom facilities closed until temperatures go above freezing on Monday, February the 2nd. All campers should expect to be self contained and without water. On Thursday, February the 1st, between 10am and 2pm the water will be turn back on to all sites so that campers may refill fresh water tanks. Please contact the Somerville Lake Office with any concerns.

The gate attendants were all so friendly love seeing kids help put up the flag in the morning and talking with Jojo as we came and left

Easy reservation process. Easy check in process Utilities worked as advertised. Didn't use restroom since self-contained. Park is kept in top condition. Although it's always a little disappointing when they shutdown some of best campsites seasonally.

Great park with a good view. The deer are out and about at dawn and dusk. Very nice staff and park hosts. Were definitely going back.

Camp host was great - very friendly - and the main reason this campground gets any stars at all. The stickers here are absolutely unbearable. There are many other reviews stating the same thing and we booked a site here anyway thinking that they couldn't be that bad. I was so wrong. You cannot step into the grass anywhere without getting covered. If you travel with children or pets, this campground is not very fun because of the stickers alone. The location is pretty, but we wont be returning because of how bad the stickers were. Hopefully they can get them under control but they are so out of hand it is going to be a multi-year process.

Very nice clean park. All sites are level, very helpful for new RV Campers. Dump stations are efficient and its helpful that they have a water hose already hooked up for use. Beautiful views at all sites.

Great views of the lake, friendly staff. Some of the campsites really closer to each other than what it looks like on the map. Too many grass burrs.

As always we enjoyed our stay at Yegua! The gate attendants were amazing. The only reason I didnt give a higher rating is due to the stickers. They were the worst Ive ever seen which made it difficult when walking out dogs.

Grass burrs are terrible! They end up in your Rv, pets feet, shoes!Its nice to see the bulkhead is being saved. Thanks for trimming trees that overhang the road and damage roof on Rv!

There are way too many stickers and ants. Otherwise, beautiful and relaxing. The weather was perfect the last day so I didn't want to leave.

The stickers were horrible! We could not hardly walk anywhere without getting into stickers. Spent a lot of time at the campsite picking stickers from all of the kids feet and shoes! Playground was no longer there, that was a disappointment as well.

Great location! Kids had a blast. People there are great, both workers and visitors. Two downers. Grass stickers seed, everywhere! Couldn't walk kore then a couple feet before socks and shoes were covered! Second, bathrooms are absolutely trashed. I understand most people have campers. But we like to tent it, very disappointing.
