The park was clean and I have seen past comments on the bathrooms. I don't use them but I walked into them just to look. Yes they are old but were very clean when I entered. I have also seen people complain about the bugs. It is called camping for a reason. I get bugs and spiders inside my rv also. Sometimes flies, bees, gnats and who know what other bugs. This is called camping and I am in their neighborhood. We absolutely love it here!

The stickers are horrible and the trees need to be trimmed for taller trailers

Campground was clean and well maintained as was the last two times I camped there. The main problem is the weekend party groups that come in and are very loud and obnoxious.30 or more people occupying a single campsite, running though adjoining campsites that are occupied by other campers. Loud parties that extend past midnight. No signs of camp host or park ranger after dark.

Our neighborhood group of about 20 takes a yearly 4-day camping trip to Lake Sommerville. This was our first year to stay at Yegua. Park was quiet, clean & well-kept. Park staff was friendly & helpful & made regular rounds through park, as did park ranger. Sites were shady &well-maintained, clean bbq pit, picnic table, easily visible parking area for camper. Nice sand "beach". We enjoyed watching the large number of deer wandering through/around campsites. Even though I am not in charge of our campout, I feel fairly confident we'll be back, next year!

We arrived Friday night - VERY DARK! Be careful driving around when arriving at night. The gnats were also HORRIBLERestrooms were scary!! Not dirty, but all stalls were filled with bugs - spiders and whatnot - all over toilets.Saturday morning someone must have come in and cleaned up - for most of the bugs were gone by mid morning - afternoon.Great campsites otherwise! Lake is very nice and speed boat friendly! We had a great time!

Need to put longer white stripes all the way up the hump on the boat ramp. Because when your backing down you don’t know exactly where your going.

We chose Yegua for a one night stay to get an idea what the parks on the lake were like. The hostess was exceptionally accommodating and pleasant when we arrived a little early.
The campsites were large and many had a lake view. The lake looked a little low, but it was still winter. Did not use the bathhouse, although it seemed centrally located. Lots of trees, power and water worked well. Treated to a fantastic sunset from site #9.
Yes, I would return to this campground.

The bathrooms were clean and functional. The hot water was hot so we were happy campers. Enjoyed the many deer hanging around.
