We came in on a very stormy day. The next day bathrooms were soaking wet and a mess. Toilet paper all over the floors in bathroom stalls with standing water. I know the storm was a mess but someone shouldve been out the next day cleaning bathrooms . Also no lights in dark stalls with there being standing water it was a little uneasy to use facilities. But love the park and have made plans to return already.

Overall all was good but the bathrooms were not the best and out of toilet paper most of the time.

This is a very nice park, but the grass burrs were the worst of any park we have ever stayed in. Also, while some of the RV spots seemed large and level, the spot we picked (#17) had a steep downhill grade until you got backed into it. Once you got past that it was very level. We would stay at this park again, but would pick a different spot.

Yegua is my new favorite camping spot. The grounds had been mowed and weed eated to make it even better. The staff is always so nice. My one complaint would be they wouldnt let us in at 2pm early even though no one was on my site. But next day let someone else in early at 1:30pm.

We first stayed a week at Rocky Creek and then a week at Yegua, both are on Somerville Lake. Both facilities are Corps of Engineering Parks but Yegua was clearly our choice. Rocky Creek is covered with sticker plants. Let me emphasize, COVERED! My time to post a review for Rocky Creek has passed but I am hoping the "powers at be" see this review. We spent the week picking stickers off our clothes, off the dogs, out of the rugs in our RV. It was awful. Corps parks are our first choice when planning trips; they are thoughtfully planned and almost always well maintained. 14 years of RVing and the only bad experience at a corps park!

The pad site is very uneven. Good for tents but not for trailers
