Early March and we stayed at two sites. Both were a little close to next camper. Not much to do if you don't fish. Bathrooms are rough but functional. One host was fun and very helpful the other one was all business.Cell service was good.

It is a beautiful place, easy in and out. Bathhouse was very clean. The sites are spacious. I'm looking forward to returning for a longer stay.

Campsites very hard to secure a site for 12-14 nights, due to all the sites being booked for Friday, Saturday, and Sundays and not used--But booked. We could only get a 6 night stay with a site without a tree for shade. This stay the grass was mowed and remowed while we were there which was very nice. Although when there in April and June the grass was very high; needing to be mowed very badly. Lots of sticker burrs noted all over the park which hasn't been a problem in past years. Bath/restrooms need lots of care and repair--Females without water in one sink. Male side with lots of problems--Shower head broken site not very clean. This park has really gone down over the last few years. Most Picnic tables without covers, firepit are not good.

Everything was fine except for the public shower houses. They are in need of desperate repair!! Was there for 2 weeks and something was not in working order the whole time. Missing shower heads, broken shower heads, clogged up toilets, blocked off toilets, leaking toilets, water standing in the shower and toilet areas. Disgusting!!!!!

A very peaceful place to relax. I just wish it had walking paths. We couldnt walk the grassy area due to grass burs so we had to walk the payment. Other than that, the stay was great.

We enjoyed our week a lot. The herd of deer that came up behind our trailer every day (twice a day) was a joy to watch. Very good facilities. Showers & bathrooms were clean.

This was our very first RV camping experience and we LOVED it! I wanted to share about this campground for anyone considering a beautiful place. We went in February 2020 and it was cold and rainy. We selected #7 with a large meadow view from our large back window. Every evening and early morning a herd of deer would come out and entertain us. We have a large and medium sized dog. They were so intrigued with the deer as well. They didn't bark at them, they just watched. Of course the deer would watch us until they determined they didn't need to worry about us being a threat. The grounds were well maintained. The roads were great to walk our dogs on. One slight negative that I didn't deduct a rating for was our dog did get burr in her paw. It was dead and dried out but still hurt her paw. So it might be a consideration if you have animals in spring, summer, and fall. They had hiking trails, easy to access boating trails. They also provided water and electric hookups and a dump station as you were exiting. There were restrooms on the premises I went in one day and the floor had water all over it but the next day was dry. (Rainy weather) They seemed well tended. One other thing I found very comforting on our first camping trip was they periodically drove through the premises. Not in an intrusive way, but just making sure that there wasn't anything amiss. They lady that checked us in at the gate was super friendly and when they drove by they would wave and make you feel really appreciated as their customer. At the time we went it was quiet and sedate, however in summer weather with all the options of boating and other activities it may not be as quiet. Loved the whole experience.
