Great views of the lake, friendly staff. Some of the campsites really closer to each other than what it looks like on the map. Too many grass burrs.

Grass burrs are terrible! They end up in your Rv, pets feet, shoes!Its nice to see the bulkhead is being saved. Thanks for trimming trees that overhang the road and damage roof on Rv!

We enjoyed our trip.Someone should have mowed the grass close to the rv spots three weeks ago because the grass burrs are pretty bad.

Site 2 was level gravel and the electric and water were great! When leaving the park, the exit lane has the metal spikes that flatten tires if you try to enter the park through the exit lane. Unfortunately, when I exited in my motorhome through that metal spike lane, the metal spikes snagged my rock guard and did several hundred dollars of damage to the rock guard. I recommend that you make the camp host let you leave via the gated exit and only use the metal spiked exit in an emergency. (My tires were not damaged.)

Easy to obtain a reserve a site on line. Welcomed by the gate attendant. Very friendly and informative. Truly enjoyable check in.As always our site was great. No problems, all hookups easy.It so happened that the Corp of Engineers had planned to remove a dying tree on the site next to us. They were very courteous in asking we move our 2nd vehicle from danger which we did.We have been coming to Yegua park since its creation. Started skiing on Lake Somerville by launching from the area leading to the overflow before ramps were in use. Spent countless hours fishing on Somerville.

I have stayed at many CoE parks in the three years I have been camping in the USA. The bathroom facilities in this campground were far inferior to the others Ive stayed in. The pads were long, relatively level, and spaced out nicely but the bathhouse was in much need of improving. Seeing the abundance of deer was exciting and the personnel at the check in station were all very informed and pleasant.

Enjoyable overnight stay. Site #2 was gravel but level with a good view. Hosts are very nice and interesting to visit. Well spend more time here when we can.

Great camping with plenty of waterfront spots! Kayaking and fishing the lake was a blast and there were dozens of deer throughout the campground. Picnic tables and grill were great. Wish the fire pit had a grill grate on it but I think there were other spots that did have this feature if it's a must have.

We stayed here in the early part of Dec. Plenty of open spots, beautiful lake with awesome sunset view. There are hiking trails and a herd of deer that graze in the fields surrounding the park. All in all a very enjoyable stay.
