Site was great and overlooked the lake from the bluff. The site next door was a little too close unless you decide to take them both down.

This was my husbands and my first time to camp at Yegua Creek. My parents always took their camper there when I was younger and now I know why! Its perfect! So well kept, beautiful view of the lake from our spot. The sunsets were amazing and we cant wait to go back!

As always our time here was awesome. The hosts we freindly and helpful. The view was amazing. Facilities were clean.we had a cold front. Showers we hot but oh my no heat.

A group I was with were camping about 25 miles from Yegua COE Park near Somerville Texas. Some of us wanted to see the park for future trips. I had stayed at Yegua and Rocky Creek several times. At the gate we were required to make a reservation (on line) in order to enter even though we all had lifetime passes. The person at the gate was very courteous but said it was for "security" reasons. (three old men could start a riot) I personally think it was for money reasons for the concessionaire. What ever the reason is it's a dumb idea.

Site 20 is a beautiful campsite overlooking the lake, but beware that there is a large DEAD tree hanging over it!!!!

Had a horrible neighbor next to us that ended up having us move because he made us feel uncomfortable he was talking rude about my 1 year old daughter

The inability to register on site is untenable. At many places phone and internet access over cellular systems is unreliable. The campground was nearly empty, but we were turned away and told we needed to drive to a location where cell service is available.

Campsites a bit small. Otherwise, great lake views and great fishing. Definitely will come back.

It's a nice place and it was clean, but the sites were so close together it felt like camping in a parking lot. I only stayed the first of four nights. There was no peace, no quiet ...just too many loud people too close together. Would not go back.

Even though our site #20 was contaminated from Grey water Charles placed is in #3. He had an easy solution with no inconvenience. We will be back.

This park is special to me as my family and I went camping here when I was in high school. I have not camped since then and just started up again at 61 years of age. My wife and I have a great time. Its still as great as ever.

This was a truly enjoyable campsite. Day 1 80 & Sunny, right on the corner of the peninsula on the water. There were a handful of RVs, but they were back in the trees away from the water, so I felt as if i had the place to myself. It was absolutely beautiful and picturesque. Days 2,3,&4 had an approx 50 drop in temp, wind that pulled about 1/2 of the 72 10" steel stakes out of the ground for the tent and storm shelter (yes, when the weather started to go sideways I put up the tent inside the extra roof and windbreak). BUT, the staff was nice enough to not point out how crazy they thought I was, just smiled and waved. Staff was very attentive and checked in on me at my site every now and again. Power went out during the peak of the storm, but came back up within an hour. Plenty of space at the sites. The facilities were clean and well stocked, although unheated. Abundant wildlife- deer, coons, couple 'cats and possums (?) at night. Hung the trash high and no problems. Cant blame the site for the weather, so I will definitely be returning.

This was a lovely park. It has many sites on the water and the others are on a rise so they can still see the water.
