Hawe Creek Campground is located in the Long Cane Ranger District, Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests (43 min southwest of Greenwood, SC) with an elevation of 388 feet. There are a total of 33 campsites. The campground is normally open from the end of March to the beginning of September. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 30 and 45 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. All sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $28.00 to $32.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, boat ramp, swimming, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

The camp hosts were extremely on top of things. I saw them each day making their rounds and cleaning the bathrooms. As soon as someone would leave the campsite they would clean in for the next camper.

Campsite was big, private, clean and easy to get in and out. We had a great time plus its only 25 minutes from where I live.

First time at the facility. Booked blind, never got to preview sites in person. Website doesnt describe sites clearly. Site 33 claims to be able to hold a 32 foot trailer or camper. Mine was a 30 it barely fit and nowhere on the webpage. Did it explain you had to do a 90 turn at an angle to get into the spot. After getting there, finally getting set up after maneuvering my trailer into the spot the next day driving around theres really only about two maybe three sites that would comfortably in my opinion fit something 30 foot or longer.. the only site that I would be comfortable putting my trailer into is spot number 29 and unless I can get that one or if its available, its the only way I would return to your facility. The bathhouse was less than stellar. Again, it was my first time to your facility and I am less than impressed.

nice quite ,relaxing time,where you can hear the fish jumping out of the water . clean bathrooms and nice camp hosts . while there visit the 96 historical site and restaurant refuel in abbeville sc.

Hawe Creek is a little jewel . Clean facilities and large spacious campsites not to mention very attentive hosts. We had to cut our trip short with unforeseen circumstances and host Steve offered to roll up his sleeves and help if it anything could be done to salvage our stay . Cudos to everyone at Hawe CreeK . We WILL be back !!

We had a wonderful time at the site, it was very nice. Clean and just wonderful with the lake water waves hitting the shore line, so peaceful.plan to go back often

Nice, large campsites, all with lake frontage. Quiet! Pet friendly. Will not camp anywhere else.Would recommend that the park remain open through October!
