Current campground hosts have done an excellent job this year! Campground was the cleanest its been in a long time. Bathroom was nice and clean also. Overall we enjoyed our time and will continue to camp there. It would be nice to keep HC open through October.

All sites were beautiful, on the water, and very spacious. We spent a total of 3 days there. Wed return.

The camp ground was very clean and quiet. Camp host were super friendly. The only thing i didnt like was the 20+ foot decline to the water the a sudden drop off so we couldnt fish at our camp site, we had to go to the dock or marina to fish. Definitely not kid friendly, but great for going to relax and have quiet time away from the day to day. Campsite was set up with a grill, fire pit and a picnic table. Well maintained and super level. Overall, I would say it was a good weekend away.

Our favorite campground. Lots of good private sights, all of which are directly on the lake. This isnt a kid friendly type campground, but instead a quite adult place that is well kept with friendly attendants. My only complaint is they dont stay open all year. I know lots of people have asked to see that change, yet no success. Maybe some day?

As always, our experience at Hawe Creek was excellent. Very nice sites, nicely spaced so have lots of privacy. Would love to have park open earlier in the year and later in the fall.

Great campground right on the lake! Walter is the campground attendant and does an amazing job preparing the sites for each visitor. He was especially helpful when we needed to switch sites to beat incoming weather. Spotty cel service, which may be a good thing depending on if you're trying to escape the world a bit!

Love the campground. Was disappointed that the facility isnt open year round. We love to camp in the cooler months and could happily see this as one of our favorites. Not sure why all of the ACE facilities have such a limited season. Campground was quiet, well kept and private compared to many others. We already have another reservation

Great lakeside camping. Very nice staff ! We came to spend our days boating, swimming, and relaxing on Lake Thurmond and couldn't have been happier. Our two Golden Retrievers had a great time as well !
