Manny and Sheila are the best host Ive ever had at any campsite. They make you feel welcome, safe and they keep the campgrounds immaculate. Its getting a little too cold for me in Prescott this time of year, but Ill be back to see them in the spring time.

Arrived at night and unfortunately stayed only for a day. Wished we would have stayed longer, it was a wonderful campground

We were not aware the public spigots werent going to be working during the time of stay. It wouldve been nice if the website had the water schedule. Other than that everything was nice, the sites were beautiful and it was well maintained.

Bathrooms were clean. Camping spot was clean. Camp hosts were nice

Water was turned off. No chance of pipes freezing during my stay. Campground was full of campers who would have appreciated water availability. Restrooms could be less stinky. Overall campground is really nice with variety of campsite configurations and generous space between campsites.

The campground was full the week I was there yet the water was turned off. This was inconvenient. The toilets were sometimes dirtier and smellier than would seem reasonable. The layout of the campground is very nice with variety of site design and generous space between sites.

Site 26 is well, tiny. Its tent-only and has basically zero privacy youre about 10 feet from the next RV, so congratulations, you instantly make new friends. The RV next to us loved running its generator, so enjoy that soothing rrrrrrr all day/night.Oh, and the high-voltage power lines right above the site? Perfect if you were missing that good old city vibe while camping.No water after November 1st, but hey, at least the bathroom was fine. And to be fair, the host was actually helpful and friendly.

White Spar has awesome MTB trails that are accessible right from the campground. The campsites have a leveled area for the picnic table and fire ring.

Nice campground but they need more first come, first served sites. My main gripe is with Recreation.gov. The $8 fee on a $14 camp site is a 57% surcharge. Additionally, if you are able to get a first come first served site, you can get a 50% discount if you have an America the Beautiful pass. This is not an option available on Recreation.gov. Why is this pass usable if you pay for the site in person but not on the website?

I was tent camping in site 4. Although more set up for an RV or trailer there was a large, level area for my tent. The campground is just outside the city of Prescott and right off the highway (89) and site 4 is very close to the highway. Because of the location there was traffic noise until later in the night. Other camp sites were more isolated from the road and noise would have been less of an issue. Nice camp hosts on site. Clean pit toilets. The hosts did not sell fire wood but they encouraged you to pick up downed wood (they had cleared brush last summer). There was excellent cell service including internet access through a cell hot spot. There was access to hiking trails directly from the campground. Overall although not a wilderness experience it was an enjoyable stay.

Very nice campground. A well marked trail system was accessible right from the campground. One of the trails went to Goldwater lake.

The campground was well maintained, and convienent to the biking trails. There was a lot of traffic noise, and the sites were not level

I really like this campground as its close to the Valley, but still far enough away to get away from the grind. I wish the campground had water though! Cell signal isnt terrible, but wish that were a bit stronger as well. Its a busy campground and the hosts were very present and helpful.

The new camp hosts showed up and in 2 days had this place in the best shape I've seen it in the past 10 years. The bathrooms are now clean and they even had them pumped out. These guys are super nice and well experienced, coming over from a nearby campground.

Manny and Sheila your host at this campground are probably the perfect host Ive ever experienced at a forest service campground. The campground is clean. They are cheerful and welcoming. They make your stay complete. Hang onto these two. These are the best host Ive met.

Noisy generators ruin outdoor experience.

It was great, my spot was excellent. Only bad part was we couldnt park 2 cars in that spot. Had to pay $5 a night extra to park in the day use lot. There was plenty of room but the host wouldnt be agreeable at all.

Grounds were clean, host was engaged and helpful, spaces a bit close but not too bad. Love that we could hike multiple trails right from the campground. Will definitely return.

No complaints, my visit was enjoyable. It's nice to be able to camp at a primitive campground that is well maintained. Thanks,Bruce

Nice spot to dry camp. Even tho there are no hookups with your RV, its very nice. There is potable water to fill your water bottles. It is clean and quiet. And close to stores and fuel.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
