Water was turned off. No chance of pipes freezing during my stay. Campground was full of campers who would have appreciated water availability. Restrooms could be less stinky. Overall campground is really nice with variety of campsite configurations and generous space between campsites.

Nice campsite and lots of trails to hike (although youll have to find your own maps). Restrooms were decent enough - not much ventilation though. Overall, a good place to camp and well be back.

Whoever runs this is only interested in maximizing profit and should NOT be running a campground in a national forest.Pulled in late during a road trip where of the 31 total camp sites only THREE were first come first serve. Mind you the entire camp ground had maybe 7 occupants. Of course the THREE first come first serve spots were already taken so I pull into 1 of the "reserve" ones come to this website to reserve where the price is higher than the listed walk up price and there's for some reason a "reservation fee" despite being literally parked in the spot. Just got refused a refund so now my bank will deal with these nickel and diming fools. I was there less than 8 hours and will never be back.

I truly love this campground, but until the "volunteers" decide that cleaning the bathrooms and picking up trash are a necessity I cant give them a better review. The bathroom when you first come in smelled so bad that it made me sick to my stomach. And the dried on pee all over the seat is inexcusable. As well, there's too much shade in most of the campsites. If you have solar you had better look before you reserve a site. The phone service there is awful. You can send a text, but good luck with anything that uses data. No weather, emails, or anything that people generally do. And the road noise there is awful. You will hear it all day and night - stupid motor bikes roaring thoughtlessly by, big trucks, and the lovely folks who think its cool to have a screaming diesel nightmare. What I love is its beauty. But with all of the other factors, the experience reminds me of being in the city - without internet.

We went in the winter, everything was really great but no toilet paper in the ladies room. Luckily we had some with us. The views were so pretty too. We are definitely going back though!

There was no toilet paper in any of the outhouses in the campground for 3 days.

Great campsite location, adjacent to trails for hiking, biking, and running. Only about 15 minutes from "real town". Would stay again.

Nice place but camp host never came by to check on things or even say hi....very strange.The camp site was very clean and maintained but they could empty the bath room septic as the smell was bad coming out the vents when walking by.The post boards had no camp ground maps at all..... again very strange. Many bikers on the trails made it hard to hike with the family my 4 year old was almost hit by some going around a bend ,,not happy about that at all.ok for a over night but too many bikers riding around ..will not stay there again.

Sites are spaced out nicely, we stayed in 12 and it was roomy. Good hiking & Prescott is fun.

The pictures provided of the campsite # 12 were not correct. Do not use these pictures for reference. The fire pit and table were a long way from the trailer parking.

I have camped here many times in the summer over the years. This was the first time I stayed here in the winter. I new that water pumps were disabled during the winter due to freezing. I didn't expect my RV fresh water tanks to freeze overnight. It was 25 degrees and we were really cold in our RV. I was shocked to see so many tent campers. We still had a good time and enjoyed being outdoors in the forest. I think that I will stick to summer camping.

What a beautiful and quiet spot! The individual camp sites are very large with a grill and a fire ring. We really enjoyed staying there. On the other hand Prescott is close enough to spend time there in one of the nice restaurants and pubs.
