For being so close to town did not feel busy at all! Similarly, "gravity park" downhill mountain biking parking lot just across from campground but we had no idea until the day we left, well used but noise/traffic didn't reach us. Lots of forest trails from the campground including over to Goldwater Lake. 10 minutes to town center but in the forest, awesome. Clean, well kept, great place.

I extended my stay from 5 days to 9 days. Beautiful campground, great host , lots of hiking in the area. Definitely will be back.

Weve been coming to White Spar for years, the setting is beautiful. There have in the PAST issues for cleanliness at the campsite.The host , Wendy, is exceptional this year. She keeps the campsite perfect we will definitely be coming back! Thanks Wendy for a wonderful stay. Bernadette & Jeff Dahl - Scottsdale

This campsite is always our favorite. I do not use the restrooms at the campsite and the smell in there is horrendous and I can't stop gagging. We use our own toilet in our RV. Other than that the experience was wonderful

Beautiful weather, lots of good hiking trails. Sites are nice and private. Camp host not around, had to put out large campfire at vacant campsite with the help of another camper.

The campground is beautiful and our site worked for us. We just happened to be there during a mountain running event that had a rest stop thru the campground. It was not a problem and really well done with no interruption for us. They are also redoing the trails and I think several workers were staying in the campground. There is supposed to be a host but one night across from us there were literally 6 vehicles and 12+ people coming and going for a night. They were respectful for the most part but it was a lot for the area. All in all we liked our stay

White Spar camp ground is amazingclose to townbut a camp experienceand hiking/mountain biking trails right from camp! Our favorite place to camp in Prescott for sure !

Not enough walk in campsites! Unfortunately this campground has been taken over by greed and the need to get that reservation fee. At some point it's almost the same price of a hotel room or worth it to disperse camp. Campground itself is fairly ugly due to recent controlled burns. There is no water in the winter. What are we paying for?

We love this campground and in particular site #10. We've been here twice before and this was the first time we saw the park ranger at all, who by the way was very nice. The bathrooms were reasonably clean and the trash was regularly emptied. We will visit here again. The location feels like it is way away from it all but is only three miles away from town if you need to pick up something you forgot.

Site 10 loop was noisy due to generators run constantly. This loop should be a NO GENERATOR LOOP. We don't camp to be in an industrial zone. We camp to experience natural soundscapes. MAKE THIS LOOP A NO GENERATOR LOOP.

Took my daughters here for their first camping adventure.. the campground is clean and quiet ! the close proximity to town makes it very nice but still far enough out of town you feel as though you truly get away ! Will come back without question !

We love camping at White Spar Campground and have returned many times. The campsites are far enough apart that you don't feel like you are crowded. Restrooms are clean and little to no odor what so ever. Water is available at different locations to fill containers for personal use (no filling of RV tanks). Plenty of easy hiking trails and at dusk deer are seen foraging for food.
