Great setting, mountain bike trails right from the campground and the camp hosts were very nice and helpful

Manny and Sheila work very hard to keep this campground sparkling clean. They were so welcoming and helpful. It was such a pleasure to stay at White Spar. We look forward to returning as its so close to town and there are miles of trails right there.

Arrived at night and unfortunately stayed only for a day. Wished we would have stayed longer, it was a wonderful campground

The new camp hosts showed up and in 2 days had this place in the best shape I've seen it in the past 10 years. The bathrooms are now clean and they even had them pumped out. These guys are super nice and well experienced, coming over from a nearby campground.

The RV space was very adequate for our overnight stay although backing a trailer around boulders is never easy. Also, there were cigarette butts on the ground in our space so the space had not been cleaned before our arrival; never saw the camp host come around.

We got stuck in the snow and the campground host, Jeff got us out very quickly. He and his wife are the sweetest people ever. Their teenage son took our teenagers to find some great sledding hills and even showed them their family snow cream recipe. We loved this campground and the hosts family. We will definitely be back.

Other campers were very loud at night after quiet hours, local police were called out to the campground over an incident between groups of campers and the campground hosts were nowhere to be seen during our stay. The campground itself is fine, but we choose to stay at campgrounds rather than boondock for safety and this was the first time in 35 years of camping that I have felt unsafe at night at a campground.

The door lock is broken on one bathroom door, but other than that, we had a great stay!

Beautiful, quiet, affordable spot in late December. Great for our campervan. There were only about five campsites filled while we were there. Vault toilets were clean. Trash receptacles available.

1>. Trees were too tall, marsh mellows were too hot, birds too loud, deer ate all the grass, coyotes howled too quiet, too many trails to hike, the children laughing was so annoying, and certainly too much nature for us. So we had to knit in my lawn chair the whole time.2>. Best campground in the Prescott Area hands down! Plenty of space in sites, even for bigger trailers. Restrooms were clean, sites were kept, and the volunteers were professional. We are a new full timing family of 5. So yes, we have our house with us. The emergency generator was needed unfortunately. I was surprised how little noise it made and there were a few other campers who remarked about how quiet it ran. I use a CPAP for sleep and our off-grid battery situation was not functioning. The staff were more than accommodating in this regard.

The sites 1-4 are close to the road and at the entrance so there is increased traffic and noise. The single track mountain biking is great, right out of the camp!

Very nice campground! Close to town but not too close. Access to great hiking and mountain bike trails. Clean and nice separate, spacious sites.

Absolutely beautiful we loved our stay the trees and the walks and our site was amazing 😻.
The only thing there is no hookups and no dump station on site, but they do have water if needed. We will be back!
