Ive been to other campsites but Ive never had a camp host like Manny. Other camp hosts would do a drive by and maybe wave, but Manny took the time to talk to us about the campsite. He gave us hiking recommendations and other information about the campsite and surrounding area. He really was a great resource. We had a great trip.

Really enjoyed our experience and our site. Bathrooms should be cleaner. It didnt look like anybody worked them while we were there.

We enjoyed our stay. Neighbors were a bit noisy till midnight. Keep in mind toilets are outhouses and no electricity in camp sites but sites are spacious and beautiful among tall trees.

The campground was quiet. Like others have said the outhouses were unbearable!. No shade in most of the campsites and bees were notorious. Even when there is no food around.

Camping for beginers was not thrilled when I looked up and saw houses in the distance. We went for Christmas so it was very quiet otherwise we would have left.

Only concern I had was there were several vehicles cruising in and out of the camp sites over the days we were camped. These vehicles did not appear to belong there and I believe they were casing the grounds for opportunistic theft of campers belongings.

It’s a great location just out of town with great hiking/biking trails. Our first stop out of Yuma most times.

We entered while the host was off duty, so we found our site, which was fine for our RV, made a fire, and retired. We left early the next morning.

Trees were too tall, marsh mellows were too hot, birds too loud, deer ate all the grass, coyotes howled too quiet, too many trails to hike, the children laughing was so annoying, and certainly too much nature for us. So we had to knit in my lawn chair the whole time.2>. Best campground in the Prescott Area hands down! Plenty of space in sites, even for bigger trailers. Restrooms were clean, sites were kept, and the volunteers were professional. We are a new full timing family of 5. So yes, we have our house with us. The emergency generator was needed unfortunately. I was surprised how little noise it made and there were a few other campers who remarked about how quiet it ran. I use a CPAP for sleep and our off-grid battery situation was not functioning. The staff were more than accommodating in this regard.

We love to dry camp so this is in our wheelhouse. The trails are great, good for mountain biking and very close to Prescott, which is why we stayed at White Spar. The sites are spaced ok but is typical of old national forest campgrounds. You can expect them to not accommodate the largest of rigs. No dump station but there is potable water for containers at various locations within the campground in season.
