We loved the walk-in site. It was quiet and close to the creek and really close to the waterfall. We cant wait to stay here again.

Beautiful campground. Sites are large and private. Flush toilets would be great but out toilets are fine. Great hiking adjacent to the campground.

Make sure you pay attention to whether you are reserving a tent site or a campground site. They are both numbered but they are distinctly different reservations both physically and cost wise.

Alsea Falls is easily accessible and not too far from Corvallis. It has a very beautiful, smaller campground with lots of trees and shade and space between sites. The sites facing the Alsea river have little footpaths to the river to go and cool off, which is wonderful on hot days. We were in space 10, which was next to the latrines (no flush toilets here) and the only complaint I had about the space is that it occasionally got a whiff of sewage when the wind decided to blow past the latrines first before reaching us. However, we were surrounded by trees and birds and had lovely hikes, so this didn't phase us much. Even during summer vacation, there were vacant spaces during the week and other campers were polite and quiet at night. Would definitely go again.

Would have got the highest rating if we had not been without water for 3 days! I believe we are entitled to a parcial refund!

Lovely, shady, quiet campground. Just 1/2 mile walk to view the falls -- best view is from the picnic area (the other side, along the continuing trail, has its view blocked by vegetation). Earlier reviewers wrote warnings about poison oak. We saw NONE on the way up to Alsea Falls, though there was blackberry and salmon berry with 3-leaf patterns that might be mistaken for p. oak.

Perfect location

This is such a great little campground. The site we were in (02) was perfect! Not too close to neighbors, a little path down to the water, close to the pit bathroom and water spout. It was quiet and clean.

We had a great time. The campground was clean and had full carts of firewood available for $10 (about two nights of fires). Looking forward to our next trip!

I stayed in one of the hike/walk to sites. Thankfully the directions led me directly there as if youre following signs for the campsite youll end up in the wrong site. These tent sites are located in the day use area. Theres one parking spot designated for each site which was nice. An easy water spigot was across from the vault toilets and also between sites 2 and 3. The sites are smaller and definitely limit the amount of tents or size of tent you could use, so plan appropriately! My two person tent was perfect for my site. I enjoyed hearing the river and falls through the camp as white noise throughout the night.

I loved this little campground. It's pretty small and at night, it's so quiet. I was a little concerned about the noise from the main road but it's off the beaten road and quiet. It's kept very clean, and each site has a nice flat gravel area for tenting and/or just hanging around a fire. The fire pits are well situated, and I like that the site lengths are short for tenters and small trailers/vans.

The campground is lush and clean. All of the sites are clean, trimmed, and graveled, and all the sites have privacy except the one in the middle of the loop. There is no bad site. The bathrooms were clean and trash was picked up regularly. The mountain biking was excellent and the trailhead was very close to the campground. The hiking trails were short, only about two miles one way to the Green Falls and a two mile loop. Don't miss the loop! You can make it a longer hike by branching off on the old logging roads. All nine of the people in my group absolutely loved the place.

This is a great little campground adjacent to the Alsea River. Alsea Falls is a short walk from camp. There aren't many campsites and it is a popular place. I was able to get reservations and stayed in site #13. It's not the best campsite there, but it isn't bad. There are pit toilets, water spigots, garbage service and firewood for sale onsite. For $10 you get a bundle of firewood that is about twice the size you normally get for that price. The main attraction for me (and many others based on the number of mountain bikers I saw in camp) is the Alsea Falls Trail System, which is a short ride from camp. I rode two days and enjoyed the trail system very much.

Love this campground! I wish the generators were less and quieter though. We come for the sound of the river and the wind in the trees.

No bugs in mid June. All campsites appeared as well kept and level as #5.

Well maintained. Bathrooms clean and didnt smell bad. Great value for firewood. One of the trails was very overgrown but considering all the budget cuts I was impressed that all the rest (heading to waterfalls) were in great shape!

Great campground. Everyone was courteous and quiet by 10.

Clean bathrooms, nice sized campsites, potable water, and beautiful views! There was only one other campsite occupied when we were there so it was also very quiet. The sites are located very close to the falls trails as well as another trail that takes you to the other campgrounds. The parking is also very close to the campsite which makes it easy to unload your things. Overall would return again!

Pretty place to camp, near the creek so buggy as expected. Campground was clean and the host seemed chill. Vault toilet was well maintained.

Awesome rustic campground in the trees and easy trail access. Some confusion on site reservation names that were posted but it all worked out.

Loved this campground! Very green and lush. We had site #09, which was very private. All sites from #9 down looked equally as private. Sites #10 and up are on a circle which offered less privacy. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Nice walk to the falls, short drive to the covered bridge. Would 100% come back to this campground!

Campsite 15 and 16 didn't have their dog on a leash. Once it came walking into our site with my dog leashed up. So I had to tell it to leave.Then I took my dog on a walk and was confronted with this dog once again while I had my dog on a leash. I told her dogs are to be on leashes. Her response she has it but not on her right now. Later that same night the dog was in the center camp spot barking at their dog. I really hope you send them a note cause the rest of use were following the rules. Feel if they don't want to they should find another place to camp. I spoke with John and if are up there again and same things happens I will be having him report it to the sheriff. Love the campground when everyone follows the rules.Thank you for reading.

Beautiful! Ground is gravel so bring a sleeping pad. Bathrooms were as clean as can be expected and the site/surrounding areas were beautiful and peaceful. Lovely grounds!

Great quiet campsite! Just know that from the parking lot is a bit of a trek to the end sites(#1-3)- plan minimalist or take a wagon for several trips back and forth

Sites are large, water sources are located throughout the campground, pit toilets are nice, and a camp house on grounds. Wood was $10 for a nice size cart but was wet so bring wood if you can. Fire pits are great for campfires and cooking on. The hiking trails are fantastic. Nice 1 mile loop from campground is great for small children. The hike to the falls are a bit challenging for small children or seniors might find them so also. I love this campground and recently enjoyed my 7th visit.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
