Sites are spaced well so that you feel isolated from other groups. Firewood at site is a good value. Great access from site 4 to river. Clean toilets. This is a repeat visit and would repeat again, highly recommended.

Campground was quite and peacful. Beautiful campsites that felt very private due to the brush between site. The vault toilets were full like very full nearly reaching the top of the pit. We were there the week after a major holiday so i wasnt surprised by them being full but i did expect the truck to come pump them and it did not for the week we were there. I felt like the odor was more than usual because of this and that was not great but over all the campground was good and we will be returning.

Alsea Falls is absolutely beautiful! The hiking is fantastic and even with the rain, the trails were easy to navigate. The campground is well kept and you can buy about 10 pieces of very dry firewood for $10 from the host. There is nice separation of space as well. I would have given it a 5/5, however on our second night, our small 20lb dog, whom I always had on a leash had a medical emergency. After racing her to the Corvallis Emergency vet at midnight, we came to find out she had THC poisoning. This was very scary and so disappointing, as we dont use THC products. She must have ingested it on the trail somewhere. She is only 2 years old and her reaction was terrifying. We had smelled marijuana at various times on the hike after passing others. She is almost herself 48 hours later, but we find it so aggravating that people go to this pristine area and ruin it and make it a hazard for pets and wildlife. Please contain your THC products and understand that it can cost a beloved pet their life! Not to mention nearly $600 of emergency care. I highly recommend canvassing your campsite for any signs of THC products if you have small kids or pets. But this is nearly impossible to do on the trail. I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else and research symptoms of THC poisoning in dogs and small children before you camp remotely.

Very nice campground. The road to drive to the campsite is in a very good shape. There are many trails, creeks, falls... around. A place to relax!

Clean campsite, good distance between campsites allow for private feel. River and waterfalls are only a short hike away, giving ample opportunities for family activities. Fellow campers were also very respectful during quiet hours. Would definitely camp here again.
