It was a nice day of forest walks along the river to Alsea falls with my greyhound Fae' and a cold crisp clear starry night. It was a great night for a fire in the fire pit.

Awesome rustic campground in the trees and easy trail access. Some confusion on site reservation names that were posted but it all worked out.

I adore Alsea Falls area, the campground and the surrounding forest. I've stayed in site 6, but prefer site 2 that has a direct path to the creek. John, the camp host, keeps the camp clean. My only disappointment is the seasonal closure starting in October

Beautiful, private campsite with lots of space. Great, kid-friendly hiking trails from the campground to Alsea Falls and Green Peak Falls. Crew Cab Long Bed pickup and 30' travel trailer fit easily in our site.

Great little campground. Easy walk to the falls. Campsites have plenty of space between them with lots of foliage so they feel very private. There is potable water and pit toilets. The river is only a short walk from campsites and a nice place to put a chair on a hot summer day.

Lovely campsite that made our first trip with our small children so enjoyable. The sites were spaced well so we had some privacy. Our site had a little path down to the river (site 4) which was very shallow on our trip, perfect for the kids to splash around in. The trail to Alsea falls was well maintained and a nice walk for our 5 and 3 year olds. It was a pretty buggy and the toilets werent ideal but those things are not dealbreakers for us.

Very nice campground. Nice privacy between spaces. Bathroom was not as clean as we would have liked. You can easily hike to two different waterfalls.

Very nice campground. Sites are large and secluded. The camp ground was extremely clean.

Beautiful area! Nice campground. Sites are large and private. Loved the easy 1 mile loop from the campground to the falls. Our elderly dogs loved it as well!
