Alsea Falls is easily accessible and not too far from Corvallis. It has a very beautiful, smaller campground with lots of trees and shade and space between sites. The sites facing the Alsea river have little footpaths to the river to go and cool off, which is wonderful on hot days. We were in space 10, which was next to the latrines (no flush toilets here) and the only complaint I had about the space is that it occasionally got a whiff of sewage when the wind decided to blow past the latrines first before reaching us. However, we were surrounded by trees and birds and had lovely hikes, so this didn't phase us much. Even during summer vacation, there were vacant spaces during the week and other campers were polite and quiet at night. Would definitely go again.

Sites are large, water sources are located throughout the campground, pit toilets are nice, and a camp house on grounds. Wood was $10 for a nice size cart but was wet so bring wood if you can. Fire pits are great for campfires and cooking on. The hiking trails are fantastic. Nice 1 mile loop from campground is great for small children. The hike to the falls are a bit challenging for small children or seniors might find them so also. I love this campground and recently enjoyed my 7th visit.

This has to be one of my most favorite places to camp and ride! The small campground is private and quiet. The mountain biking is amazing! The kids enjoyed picking berries, swimming in the river, and riding their bikes along the beautiful loop to the falls. The bathrooms are clean and close to all of the sites. And the giant wood stack served up in a wheelbarrow is a fantastic touch! We easily fit two vans, one tent, and two families into one camp spot with plenty of space to move around. Thanks to the amazing camp hosts for working hard to keep things clean and running smoothly. We will be back!

First time camping 2023 and in the state of Oregon! We had site #10, stayed 2 nights middle of the week. The reviews talked about the smell from vault toilets which are right next door but we did not experience any. The site was large, secluded and shaded which was perfect for us. Clean and quiet. We bought wood from host area that lasted the 2 nights, it was quite a bit for $10.00 each. Happy Birthday to me, we will camp here again! The falls were 2 minutes away and there were walking trails throughout the camp site. 🏕 Great time!

Beautiful campsites, in the woods and fairly separated from each other, close bathrooms, easy access to trail and the falls, even with little kids, really great! Unfortunately we could get wiffs of the pit toilets right next to our site (10) every once in a while, pretty gross.

Very noisy on stay. There seemed to be a steady line of cars in and out of the campground all night long.

We are asked on websites not to bring our own firewood due to spreading disease among our forests. It was disappointing to not find firewood for sale. Alsea is one of my favorite campgrounds due to all the hiking trails.

I abasolutely had a fantastic experience. The campground located to trails that take one to the falls was clean, included water and some of the cleanest vault toilets I have ever experienced in a campground. Old growth fir trees provide shade and privacy between sites.

All sites are large, include a picnic able and nice fire pits. One can choose sites that are next to the river or ones that are closer to the entrance and sunny.

$12 per night or $6 with Golden Age Pass Reservations only

Site number three has a steep parking area that requires leveling. I would suggest that unless your a tent camper to avoid this site.
