Well maintained campground

This is such a clean campground and our site was spacious. Even though we were closer to the highway than some sites, the noise didnt bother us at all.

A beautiful CG and well maintained and with the warm showers and flush toilets it allows for a very comfortable camping experience. Cigar and Marijuana smoke from neighbors and generator noise not withstanding!! Some of the CGs need more shrubs to grow back after the fire to give some privacy between the camp sites. Will return to our favorite base camp for crater lake the the beautiful Umqua river

Easy to locate, clean and comfortable camp spot. The bathroom and showers were tidy.

Beautiful, quiet, very clean campground right next to the Umpqua River. I am not a tent camper and we only booked a single night since we were in the area for a day long rafting trip but I wish we had a least a few days there. The river is a couple minutes walk and it is mainly rocky, so definitely recommend water shoes. If you didn't pack your own coffee, Steamboat Inn is a beautiful Inn/cafe is about 5 mins away - they have amazing coffee and an attentive staff. Would highly recommend and would certainly go back!

Beautiful campground, restrooms were clean and odor free. Lots of outdoor activities

We so enjoyed Susan Creek! Great small campground with clean bathrooms and showers. Close enough for a day trip to Wildlife Safari! The river access was a little busy (limited hangout spots close by) and poison oak stopped us from a few trails, but no mosquitos and a great time had by all just in our site!

Clean campground and shower/toilet. Spacious. Highly recommended.

Great campground! Small and quiet, right on the banks of the N. Umpqua river. Bathrooms and showers were cleaner than most state and county campgrounds weve been to. The camp host was very nice and helpful when needed. Lots of outdoor activities are close by. Crater Lake is only 1:45 away too.

Hot showers, which were unexpected. Great talking with camp host Paula. Will definitely be high on the list next time we camp in the area.

Super place for base camp to see waterfalls. Everything is clean, from the bathrooms to the neatly raked sites.

Beautiful camp ground. Camping spots all big and flat. Bathrooms very clean.

Very well-maintained facility. The North Umpqua provides white-noise that was very pleasant. In mid June, the mosquitos weren't bad at all.

Susan Creek has been our favorite campground for many years. We come with friends every year and have always enjoyed the atmosphere of the campground. This year things seemed a little less pristine. While the campsites were perfect as always, the men's bathroom was in a state of disrepair-the door was misaligned and the blower had a sign on it that stated not to use as it was a fire hazard. Also, there were times when there was no toilet paper in the family rest room.

Darren is an absolutely wonderful host. It will be sad to see him leave for over adventures. He will be missed.

Susan Creek is one of the most beautiful and cleanest campgrounds I have experienced. Paula, the most wonderful camp host, was constantly seen out cleaning and tending to the sites. I can't wait to return.

Very nice small campground! Had clean bathrooms and showers. Had access to the river which the kids loved.

This is a well-maintained campground with excellent facilities: bathrooms, showers, water faucets, waste disposal and garbage bins, even a recycling box. Because the campground is at the edge of a recent burn, it is often easy to get a reservation. Fragrant elderberries were blooming in May. Watch out for poison oak along the river trail!

I love this campground for its location, size, site cleanliness and always excellent and reliable camp host. Its also located near so many beautiful hikes, despite all of the burn areas from a massive forest fire a few years ago. I will definitely return each year unless it becomes so popular that getting a reservation becomes impossible

Clean, beautiful and wonderful walking trails.

Very well kept park. Clean restrooms. Most sites are well spaced apart. Lots of hiking opportunities without driving anywhere. Walk from the campground to the day use area and branch off to Susan Creek Falls, Tioga Bridge and beyond that access the North Umpqua Trail that leads many miles in both directions. Due to the massive wildfire several years back, some areas are still closed, but crews are working (chainsaw noise during the day) to remove hazards. This was our second stay at Susan Creek campground. Will definitely visit again.

Very relaxing and quiet. Trails are very well maintained, bring own entertainment as the horse show pits are still being repaired due to recent flooding. Camp sites are large and easy access. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. Hike from campsites to water fall is 5 mile round trip and well worth the hike.

Great campground, clean well maintained campsite, quiet neighbors, and the North Umpqua river 50' away! Numerous hiking trails (although an abundance of poison oak), and swimming for those that don't mind the cool water. Our favorite camping destination!

A wonderful facility. Nice sites especially along the River. The bathroom/showers were great. Plenty of water spigots to refill. Also liked the connecting trail to the Susan Creek Falls trail. Great job on this one.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
