No phone service here. The on-site phone doesn't work. Host can't accept payment. Why not use the payment dropbox already at the park. Lovely park, beautifully maintained, but we hate the check-in process.

The entire campground got sick and we were evicted for our own safety. Also, we were never told what had occurred or if we were still sick, poisoned, or anything else that might affect us in the long term.

Great campground! Small and quiet, right on the banks of the N. Umpqua river. Bathrooms and showers were cleaner than most state and county campgrounds weve been to. The camp host was very nice and helpful when needed. Lots of outdoor activities are close by. Crater Lake is only 1:45 away too.

Awesome little campground! River is great, trails are great, camp host was super nice and helpful. Spots were big and clean. Didnt feel like we were on top of our neighbors which was nice. Probably the best thing is that the on-site restrooms and showers were extremely well maintained and clean. Highly recommend.

Situated along a beautiful stretch of the North Umpqua, Susan Creek is a gem. There is a swimming hole large enough to fit several olympic sized pools, a nice trail to Susan Creek Falls and the Day Use Area, and nice level camp spots. The only down side is a portion of the campground shows signs of a recent fire, so live trees generally started around site 19 or 20. This will improve quickly.

Beautiful area, very green and lush. Showers and bathrooms are clean. Quiet, except for the birds and the song of the river!

This campground has the best camp hosts ever. They are friendly and helpful. They keep the restrooms and showers spotless. They ensure the campsites are clean (and gravel raked!) before arrival. My only friendly request is that the camp install recycling facilities for glass, plastic, and metal. It isn't far to town where all of those materials can go.

THe campground was clean, beautiful and relatively quiet for packing so many campers in one place.
