Site 5 has a great view looking up the river even with a bench to sit upon and relax. . It is a very small site though with barely enough room for a 8x10 tent and it looks into the site next to it which didn’t bother me but might bother others. It has partial shade, not full shade, but with enough shade to always find a shady spot. The campground was incredibly clean, has private showers, flush toilets, and lots of water spouts throughout the campground. There wasn’t a path directly from this site down to the river but there are several paths to the river throughout the campground. It was also very quiet at night even though the campground was completely full. The campground is in old growth forest that wasn’t burnt. I highly recommend this campground. My personal preference would be campsite 3 or 4 which are bigger and have more privacy but also no way down to the river.

This the best camping spot I have been to so far. Amazing views. Close to all the water falls and the hosts are amazing. Sweetest couple ever. Definitely coming back. Bathroom and showers are super nice and always clean!

A beautiful, clean and quiet campground. The river is just below the camp site, which is an added plus to the atmosphere. The bathrooms were clean and the camp hosts were polite and kind. I would recommend this campground.

Even though the Archie Creek Fire burned a portion of the campground, there is an oasis on the river side camp spaces where you can feel that you are still on the beautiful North Umpqua river. They had a water problem the day we arrived, but BLM employees were very friendly and were fixing the problem. Be sure not to have any part of your vehicle touching the gravel as the camp host came after 8:00 at night to tell us we had to move the car - the cars had been parked in the same place all day . . .

Perfect camp site, short hike to the beautiful clean northern Umpqua river.
Fresh tap water near every campsites.
Excellent fire pits/rings. Can’t wait to camp again there.

Amazing it survived the fires!
Good experience except a neighbor was playing his stereo like there was no one else there.
