A beautiful, rain forest campground with spacious, private sites. Lakeside trail.

As always, Coho hosts, Al and his wife, were a joy to talk to. They keep the facilities clean and stocked. We like the shoulder season as it is much quieter and usually less crowded. It was disturbing how low the lake water was. Lets hope for lots of snow and rain to aid in refilling it. (Dont let the engineers near the dam runoff switches!). See you next spring!

nice spacing for a rv campground. Too bad they don't include showers. only stayed one night but what a morning waking up and heading out to the lake to those spectacular mountains coming right down to the water. Cannot see the mountains from the campground but a short walk.

We love the beautiful forest here at Coho and the campsites and bathrooms are always nice and clean. Thank you to the Host!

Amazing campground and very kind host. Beautiful views, the cleanest and nicest amenities I've ever had access to, and great location. Thank you!

This campground is a hidden little gem. Beautiful, clean campground. Clean restrooms.Almost every spot is paved ,flat and easily accessible. There are some tent spots that are the hike in kind and a couple yurts are available as well. The campground was nice and quiet at night. No cell service. A quick walk or drive away from the lake/ dam / park. The night sky on a clear night is incredible. The camp host on site has a few things for sale , like popsicles , sodas , coffee etc and are just the nicest people.

Great site, private and roomy with a beautiful lake view as well as a fresh water spigot and waste water dump which was much appreciated. Not too far from the bathroom and parking lot.

Campground is beautifully maintained and quiet.

The hosts were so kind, the bathrooms and yurt were clean. We were grateful for the camp managers directions to local waterfalls since we were there end of season and the smoke was a huge factor.

We had a great time at Coho in early September! We had an SUV and a Truck and both fit. We set up one rooftop tent and one tent on the ground and we still had plenty of space to put up our camp chairs and relax. The campsite itself is very well maintained, very clean! Bathrooms had flushable toilets, and a sink and were also very clean!! We loved the little trails throughout the campground, and it was super easy to walk from camp to the lake (even though it was too low for swimming this time of year) overall we had a great time at Coho and will be back!

The campsites were all lovely and spaced well apart. My dog barks at other dogs, and the nearby sites all had dogs. However, the trees and the distance between the sites prevented my dog from realizing that there was another dog there. I loved the hiking trail around the lake, and the bathrooms were spotless. My only complaint is that the cost ($40!) per night limited me to one night.

Me and my boys didnt spend much time at the campground because we were there hunting. But it was very nice clean and the host was very kind greeted us when we arrived and when we were leaving. The one unfortunate thing was the lake was so low we couldnt go swim because the dam was open

The yurt (#50) was really cute, as described by others. It was fun to listen to all the different woodland creatures- the owl, the squirrels, other birds, and the chipmunks. There was a peek-a-boo view of the lake, but an easy access trail to get to it. The bathrooms weren't too far away, but the path is unlit, so you will need to wait for your eyes to adjust or carry a small flashlight. The path does have you walking by other campers, so we were extra conscientious about our light and being quiet. The camp host was AMAZING. He was friendly, nice to talk to, and very helpful. If I could ask for one change, we would have liked to be able to open the top of the yurt to let in more airflow. Overall, I loved the experience and would go back.

Coho Campground is one of the best campgrounds weve ever stayed at! From the friendly and helpful host, to the clean bathrooms, and the beautiful scenery all aroundeverything was just amazing. We cant wait to come back!

Nice long level site. Camp host nice to meet. Excellent view of lake. Great Lake hiking trail steps away.

Super clean campsites that are well marked! We did a hike-in spot and the walk to the campsite itself was not very long from the parking lot. Very private and we didn't hear noise from neighbors. We were so suprised to see that there were super clean bathrooms nearby with flushable toilets and a hand drier (and soap!). There was even little trashcans in the stalls for feminine products. Which is a luxury! We also loved how there was a trail super close by and the campground was very dog friendly. We will be back :)

Coho Campgrounds is remarkable. Al, the camp host, has thought of everything! The bathrooms-spotless. The grounds-spotless. I am so glad that Al's family and coilition came together to keep this beautiful campground available. I can't wait to return. Of course you are right at Wynoochee Lake. Lots of hiking, biking, swimming, canoe/kayaking. It's a mountain oasis.

Great camp on the lake with large paved sites in the forest. Dry camp only I think. Trails for walking. Boat launch. RV Dump station just down the road $5 pay camp host. Potable water at a few places around the camp for filling jugs. No cellphone service. We marked this as a A+ revisit on our camp list. Oh, and the Wychoochee Valley Rd up from Montesano has recently been patched and paved. Nice road

We love this place for swimming and hiking, this year the water was very,very low and of course a fire ban...so not the best camping but overall enjoyed our yurt.

Easy pull through site with a big gathering area. We had site 44 and 43 there is a nice trail that connects both of them. Well shaded campgsite with not a far walk to bathrooms, trash or water.
@JayP9688725 · Camped on Aug 11, 2025 at Campsite #43
Very nice campground. Camp host was very friendly. Easy access with a bigger trailer. All the amenities are close by. Hiking trails right off the campground. Water was flat calm and enjoyable to swim in.
@RYANB8651630 · Camped on Aug 8, 2025 at Campsite #34
The camp host was very nice and they had a they run a small consessions booth with commonly used camping items. It might have rated it slightly higher if the lake's water level wasnt so low making it unsuitable for swimming.
@ChrisB5203459 · Camped on Aug 6, 2025 at Campsite #36
Awesome campground, love the trails around the campground. We had a spotted owl hanging out tight next to our site for a bit. We had 36, which backed up to the bluff overlooking the lake. It was plenty of room for our 23' (28' overall) travel trailer plus truck. Weather was perfect in early August. Only drawback was it is a ways off the highway, 23 miles on semi paved forest service roads to get to highway 101 but it was a beautiful drive.
@MarshaF8049C15 · Camped on Jul 30, 2025 at Campsite #57
Yurt was clean and bug free. No signs of mouse activity. A plug receptacle let us warm water for coffee and hot chocolate. A trail to the water is a bit steep, but usable. Stones next to the water allowed fun stone skipping.!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
