We had group site 40 right next to the bathroom. There was not really enough room for 4 tents and one of ours went beyond the large rocks in place as a boundary. People were walking through our site to reach the bathroom until we put up our 4 tents. With small children the convenience of the bathroom out weighed the lack of privacy. Only real complaint was the very loud hispanic group that stayed up talking till 2 am. The next night was super quiet. Our kids loved riding their bikes around the campground. We didnt need anything but appreciate the option of buying more ice or firewood.

Site is situated along a pleasant lake with an impressive dam. Clean sites and restrooms, equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, and water spigots. Some fun, easy nearby hikes to waterfalls. In the middle of nowhere, so access to things like groceries needs to be planned in advance.

Very clean restroom. Long drive way to enable several cars to park for group site. Friendly host. Beautiful lake view. Will definitely come back.

Had a wonderful stay at Coho. The sites were spacious and the bathrooms were exceptionally clean. The reservoir was beautiful and easy to access. Highly recommend!

Camp hosts were amazing. Love that they operate a kiosk for items people may have forgotten and will even bring items from town since one of them commutes from Aberdeen everyday.The firewood for sale was very very wet Alder so bring a duraflame log to get the fire started for each night you are there. They ran out of firewood mid-week and the truck to bring more apparently broke down so there was no firewood for a couple days. There is no cell phone service at the campground, but there is service and Wi-Fi available at the dam.

The water is very clean. The campground is spacious, but the lake is dead. The Lakeshore has only tree stumps, no life. The trail that goes along the lake is slated for being clear cut. Such a tragedy we have to treat our land with respect.

Absolutely beautiful campground - close to the lake and some campsites even had a view right from camp. Definitely more remote than other options if you are wanting to visit Olympic, but we stayed with the purpose of enjoying the lake and werent disappointed. :)

First time here and I cant wait to come back. The campsite was clean and beautiful; far enough away from neighbors not to disturb anyone even in a full campground. We had a beautiful view of the lake from our spot and Ill try to get it again. The spot was Spacious enough to fit all our tents and gear comfortably. Bathrooms were clean and close enough to send the kids on their own and trash cans were plentiful for getting rid of camp trash. The lake was beautiful. I do wish there were a couple more access points to the water that werent just the day use and boat ramps spots but not sure if thats changeable. The hosts were lovely and kind which is always a pleasure. Cant wait to go back!

My partner and I stayed here on a Sunday-Wednesday in early July and everything was fantastic. When we arrived on Sunday there was a decent amount of noise from boat activity - but I guess thats what you get when your yurt has a view of the water! The rest of our stay the lake was ultra quiet in comparison (weekdays). Some other reviews mention that the walk-in campsite are pretty close together, and I would agree, but even while surrounded by campsites of families with young kids - this never bothered us. The yurt was very clean and comfortable and we were delighted to be able to purchase firewood (albeit wet firewood) and ice from the camp hosts. They even take credit card! Additionally the restrooms were super clean and having drinking water on tap near our campsite was super convenient. If you bring paddleboards or kayaks - I would recommend launching from the boat launch instead of hauling them from the day-use area like we did.

This was our first time at Coho campground, I had heard positive things about it word of mouth but it didnt do this campground justice. The trip was my two daughters first time camping in a tent and they not only loved this experience, they asked if we can come back again soon! The facilities were clean (flushing toilets being a big hit!), the water spigots close by were a pleasant surprise and the camp ground hosts were extremely nice and helpful! Even with the water being a little brisk it helped cool us down on those hot days we were at camp! We will defiantly be coming back again soon!

We really enjoyed our time at Coho campground. We booked the walk in group site and it was great. Not too far away but isolated enough to be quiet. The site comfortably slept 10 or so people in 4 tents.

This was the most peaceful campground Ive ever experienced. The bathrooms were spotless. The lake border trail was prime for adventure. The lake was stunning; we saw bald eagles. The drive was long and remote so he ready for that. Would love to return!

The sites are close together and you can hear everything. People next to us partied until 3am and the yurt was like a megaphone trapping every word. Our whole family was so exhausted we left a day early.As for the surroundings, it's a beautiful spot with lots of easy trails and a boat launch. Camp host has ice and snacks which is helpful. Our experience was sub par. I would recommend coming mid week if possible.

Beautiful campsites! Sadly, its always the folks with generators who spoil the visit. I wish they were isolated into their own area/loop. It seems like such an easy way to allow everyones needs and life styles to be accommodated. Otherwise, one of the most spectacular campgrounds: hiking, swimming, boating and biking. Coho offers so much.

I reserved Yurt #50 for a two night girls trip to hike and paddle. I want to start by clearly stating that it Does Not Sleep Eight! Its a bit misleading in the facility details / descriptions about number of people. The Yurt itself has one bunk bed (twin top and full bottom) and one Futon (full) and sleeps *comfortably three people five people a bit squished. I suppose you could put an air mattress on floor, but then youd have no place to walk. I also suppose you could fit one or two tents outside (small tents 2-3 person). We made it work with 4 of us, but definitely surprised when we opened the door on arrival. Aside from yurt occupancy, yurt was clean and right next to the lake (short walk down with our paddle boards). The space allocated for yurt reservation had a firepit with grate for grilling, picnic table and very private at end of walkway, so people were not walking through our site. The campground is really nice and the lake is beautiful with wide open grassy area for day use and campers. There is a swimming area that is sheltered between dam and a log boom off the grass area the boatRamp is on other side with beaches to hangout on and launch water toys. We hiked around the lake, about 14miles - a fair amount of trail has overgrown brush and stickers or ankle biters as we started calling them. It was a long day, but not terribly hard or technical with not much elevation gains. It was a good hike for us, we did not have to drive anywhere and started right fromOur campsite however, I dont think I would have traveled very far specifically to do this hike and I would not consider it as a destination hike. We had a wonderful time out on the lake with our paddle boards. The area surrounding campground and lake is gorgeous. I would come back again. Oh! And Al the camp host is wonderful. Very friendly. Bathrooms clean - no showers.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
