Well-maintained. Nice old oaks. Full hook-ups and sanitary stainless steel connections basins. Best sites are away from the occasional highway noise at the dump station. Get a shady site. Be prepared for lots of spider webs on the Bear Swamp Trail.

Very nice campground and well maintained. Bath house was very clean and the spring area was beautiful as always. We paddled Juniper Springs on Friday- the water was very low and there were a lot of obstacles to go under & over. Was a fun day, but definitely not for beginning paddlers. Saturday we went to Silver Springs. Once we got past the chaos at the put-in, it was a beautiful paddle. There are motor boats on this river alongside the kayaks, canoes and paddle boards.

Salt Springs is one of our favorite springs in Florida. The head spring is large and very clear. Some areas are shallow enough to stand up and others are deep, depending on the time of year and rainfall. The campsites are clean with fire pits and the park staff makes sure no one is too loud after 10pm. It's a fantastic place for families. There's also an amazing pizza/ Italian restaurant almost across the street (maybe 1/4 mile away) which has great food, especially the garlic knots and lasagna. I highly recommend this state park.

Beautiful, large spaces with great full hookups. Hiking trails plus the springs make this one of the best forest service camps weve ever visited!

Nice campground. Shaded full hookup sites. Also have a number of first come sites as well. Spring was great to cool off in. Large picnic area at the spring. No beach, just walk down the steps to the water. Weekdays were quiet, got pretty busy on the weekend. Staff seemed attentive and the campground was clean.

The campsite is extremely crowded and loud more like a playground. Nothing peaceful about it. The park is rundown and seems to be doing some construction. If the kids on elec scooters yelling and bouncing basketball wasnt annoying enough apparently next door has karaoke till 10pm. We almost packed up multiple times and drive home. It could be great but sadly it isnt.

It is affordable and the sites are open enough to where you are not on top of another site. Plenty of room....

Horrible Manager. She was very rude. Hard to get a reservation and we had would have had to move every single night. We left after the first day. Won't be back

Well managed park, helpful staff, natural beauty. Large swimming area at springs and long spring run. RV sites are spacious and connections easy. Shady, but enough clear sky for Starlink in most spaces. Local attractions are Silver Springs (nice disc golf course) and Marjorie Rawlings homestead (The Yearling, Cross Creek), bass fishing close by in Lake George. No traffic noise.

Campground was great. The campsites were spaced out so no one was on top of each other. We did kayak using our own and used the launch site. Was able to see manatees swimming near the launch. We did go to the springs and enjoyed swimming.

Springs are lovely with huge swimming area and many shallow spots for standing. Campground was spacious with many shade trees. The full hook-ups were a bonus! Very impressed with our 1st visit and hope to return next winter.

A great place to camp clean restrooms and showers nice dish station. Friendly staff and there is a nice trail at the camp site called The bear Trail and there are more trails around the area. There is also the spring to swim in very nice area and also a nice creek with gators turtles and other wildlife.

We were on Site #1. Most sites are level and have plenty of room. Campgrounds are kept up very well and the showers are kept exceptionally clean. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back to this campground.

Pretty nice place, but too many rules...with campground hosts continually moving throughout the campground making sure rules are followed. At times we felt like teenagers vs the "mature" adults that we are. My biggest pet peeve was the leave blowers they used EVERY time a site was vacated. To remove a few small leaves on the paved pads after folks left. So noisy and unnecessary.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
