Our absolute favorite campground. Located in the Ocala National Forest with very easy sites to park your camper (on level asphalt).

The campsites are level and of a good size. The bathrooms were clean and offered shower facilities and a separate sink area for washing dishes. The springs are great for swimming/soaking, and kayaking below the swim area. This is a great park. I would recommend this park and I hope to return for a stay in the future

Great location. Lovely quiet campground. We had 2 different sites and neither were great, but they were okay. Bathrooms were good and conveniently located.

Nice layout, plenty of space for hanging out. Very quiet and clean. The pads could be larger but happy every time we go there.

Salt Springs is my first choice of campgrounds to visit. There is so much to do starting with the springs and then moving to hiking and then the forest. There are other places to visit locally for day trips. The campground itself is the perfect place to stay, with full hookup, nice clean sites. The whole place is kept clean, bathrooms cleaned everyday. It always amazes me that that many campsites can be full of campers and yet be quiet. Salt Springs Recreation is the perfect place to stay. Keep up the good work.

Great campgrounds. Clean, spacious, bathrooms are super clean and people are friendly. We love camping here. Been camping here for the last 8 years.

Reasonably priced. Pretty area.1 hiking trail of 1.3 miles at the park. Unfortunately no running water at the site, even though the booking showed it did. Campsites are close to each other and we unfortunately were right beside people up late partying and vulgarity every other word.

Salt Springs Recreation Area is a beautiful park and the grounds are well kept. I like the peaceful feel and the gated setup. However, for the price, the primitive campground feels a bit high. The showers were clean, but they have beach-style rinse heads with extremely strong pressure that actually hurts, and the water wasn't hot at all. That was really disappointing. Also, the pedestrian gate button didn't work early in the morning before the gate opened, which caused an issue when trying to walk out.

Our site 26 had a bad 50 amp breaker and hosts were unable to get someone there to fix it. They had to move us to a host site, which turned out just fine. This is the finest Forest Svccampground we have been to. Only complaint was there is no parking for the showers in the full hookup sites. That would be bad for someone with mobility issues. Had to go to the primitive camping for a shower as it had parking.

Fun and clean facilities, that being said my wife went to ladies room twice and had no tissue paper . For 38 a night tent camping thats completely not acceptable. Thanks!

The park is beautiful, but I have a hard time understanding what makes it is $74 a night. Except for being full hookup, it doesnt offer much more than the state parks do at $22 a night. The sites are paved, but they arent all leveled. Like many state parks, the spring is available to campers, it is quite a hike, though. The bath house is well kept.

Great campground with full hookups. Beautiful spring. The only negative is the terrible roads in the primitive area.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
