The springs are gorgeous and seem warm during the winter. There were lots of fish, and surprising to me blue crabs. The campsites were spacious, ours was level although some of the FCFS ones had a slope. We had a great time with friends. They did say the showers were lukewarm, we used our RV so no personal experience on that. The bath houses were cleaned at least twice a day while we were there.

Not as good as it once was. Poorly managed and over priced.

It was a good camping experience mostly for the salt springs itself and the nice walking around the campground. But there were some issues here. The camp sites are close together and some sites have very little space. The bathrooms were inconsistent, some days they were nice, clean, and dry and other days they were a wet mess. Someone was mopping too often with too much water. Also, this is a natural setting, the hosts should not feel the need to run the leaf blowers constantly from 9-11 on the sites that were vacated. We all expect to find nature here. The mornings were very unpleasant because of the leaf blowers.

Overall, the park is very nice and it is well kept. However, there are so many rules that my 10-year-old son and are whole family did not have much fun as there is just no way to be a kid or bike and have fun because there are rules to restrict most everything you would like to do. They did have a basketball court area which was fun but there was rules to that. They also had cornhole but no cornhole bags and there were some rules included with that. The spring was beautiful but we tried swimming and there were so many rules that it wasn't so fun. Anyways, we planned on going to many national parks. Due to this visit, we will not be staying in any national parks going forward.

This was a great location. From entry, there are places for campers/trailers to easily pull to the side to check in without blocking traffic. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The campsite is great. Plenty of room. Cell signal with ATT worked great. The springs were easy to access and very beautiful. We spent the whole weekend just at Salt Springs but heard there are lots of other close springs that we should check out. We will for sure be retuning.

This is a first class RV camping spot. Clean large campsites, clean restrooms, nice helpful employees. Parking pads are small for full size RV and1 car (can not park in the grass) which is weeds. Other than that, great place

The park is absolutely pristine. I pulled in and there were 3 deer grazing just outside the office. It is extremely well maintained. Hats off to the staff at this park, they take pride in their work. The only issue I had was the traffic noise from HWY 19. Semi trucks barreling down the road woke me several times as they were so close. If I stay again, I would stay on the other side, in lots 15, 16 or 17. That would cut down on some of the noise. I was at number 22 and it was way too loud. The Springs swimming area is amazing! Bring a snorkel/mask, it is well worth it. It reminded me of swimming in a coral reef. The fish have no fear and its magical!

When we arrived, there were three couples and we had booked together. We went to our assigned spots and two of us were completely set up and the maintenenace guy came and told our 3rd couple they could not stay there as lightening had struck a tree across from them and they were awaiting an arborist to come and ensure the tree was safe. They were tole they could not be moved to another lot close to us they would need to go to the first come first served area, so they did, we then ask if we could move to one of the two lots close to them, we were told we could not because we were already set up. The service rep was extremely rude and happened to be in the lot near to our friend. Her tag was expired, she had tarp draped over rope in the back of her pull behind where she was storing things. The park was nice but this young ladies attitude made for a very poor experience and she certainly did not represent the park well.

The campgrounds are nice, BUT, the managing vendor company has vehicles, boats and equipment stored and it looks like a junkyard. They have personal vehicles parked in common areas with for sale signs. The primitive camping area has years long wash out which is becoming dangerous to walk around at night. You could fall and seriously break something. We camped in a August 2022 and ended up with dozens of seed ticks on each of us and our dogs.
