Excellent, quiet campground on the river. Not all sites can accomodate bigger rigs however we did manage to get a 38 ft toyhauler into site 2 by dropping the ramp to the patio position before completing backin. There is now water atcampground but it is next to the "restroom" and located at the halfway point of the campground loop. It's also best used to fill your water jugs. Absolutely great atmosphere and area. Will definately come back if we are near this area again

We had a great time at this campground and it was a beautiful area; however, there was someone constantly smoking cigarettes at the nearby campsites and as a pregnant person it felt risky to my babys health. We ended up leaving a day early for this reason. FYI for folks with small children- some of the river sites have a bit of a drop off toward the river. We were glad we were at an interior site so we didnt have to worry about our toddler falling.

Gotta give a shout out to the camp host! I believe her name was Judy? She was warm, hospitable and very welcoming. She kept things nice and tidy, and was always offering a smile when we ran into her.

Amazing spot. Great for car camping. Open the Subaru hatch and watch the river go by. The river acts as great white noise too! The vault toilets are the exact same you'd find at a national forest trailhead, but they were immaculate. Super clean. No odors whatsoever. Would love to snag this spot again

Camp host, Jane, was by far the best host ever! She was very friendly, took great care of the sites and had answers to all our questions. Site 7 was private, close to river access and perfect for our family.

Site was large and private. One of the few sites able to accommodate a35' 5th wheel. Its out away from civilization. Some small towns here and there.

Clean , non-smelly toilets, raked & super-clean site, no litter around campground, and a friendly host (Jan or Jill)- will definitely be back!

This was my first time visiting Beckler River Campground. The sites were in very good condition. I appreciated and used the new potable water spigot. The camp host was very friendly and kept the restrooms in very clean condition. I have stayed at other campgrounds, including Panorama Point Campground on Baker Lake last year, in which the camp hosts were slackers, left the restrooms without toilet paper, did not clean them for 4-5 days, and were basically absent. You have a winner camp host at Beckler River this year. Kudos to her!

One of the best National Forest campgrounds we've visited. Beautiful sites, far apart, next to the river, clean vault toilets, fresh drinking water...and a wonderful, experienced host. Highest recommendations!

Site 17 is a hidden gem - close to the bathroom but not too close, plenty of shade, and a decent amount of privacy. The campground is amazing and our host was helpful and friendly. The reservation system said there was no water supply at the campground but the pump system was working just fine during our stay. Definitely coming back!

The camp host Jane was great! Extremely helpful and accommodating! Water is back on site so thats a huge bonus! Cant miss the broasted chicken at the Whistling Post, our favorite way to have it.

The camp host was wonderful and the campsite was well taken care of. Bathrooms were clean and there was water available at the site. Host also had wood for sale.

We stayed in site 1, which was had a beautiful view of the river. We had 2 cars, one tent and felt like we still had lots of space. The bathrooms were extremely clean (the BEST none- flush in the country) , the camp host was very nice, and the overall vibe was very relaxed. The solar water pump worked well & tasted good! We will be back!

This is a beautiful small campground near Beckler River.

5 stars rating for our host Jason. The facility doesn't have water supply so we have to rely on the river or diver by to the nearest campground for drinking water. Overall a nice campsite by the river
@GregoryM823083 · Camped on May 16, 2025 at Campsite #11
It was quiet and beautiful. There's a new solar-powered pump providing delicious clean water. Site 11 was nice and didn't feel too close to any others. There was a large party at the group site across the way and we couldn't even hear them, because the site is set well back. The host was very kind.

Beautiful small campground with great access to the river. Camping Host (Jane) was great. She stop by as we were setting up camp to make sure everything was okay and then let us enjoy our quiet time for the next 3 nights

This was a decent camp experience for us. Camping next to the creek and the wonderful nature sounds it brought us was a lovely experience. However, communication regarding this campsite needs improvement. The emails received prior to our trip said both "[Campsite 013] NEXT TO DRINKING WATER, BETWEEN SITES 11 AND 15" as well as "This is a NO WATER facility..." Very confusing. Needless to say, the water spigot was blocked off, and there was no running water or plumbing whatsoever. Restrooms were an outhouse style. This is not our jam, so we will not be coming back.NOTE: BE SURE TO BRING YOUR OWN WATER FOR DRINKING, COOKING, WASHING DISHES, and HYGIENE. We were able to purchase some at the nearby gas station and a family of 4 went through more gallons than we realized for the above named activities.

the host was something of a recluse, not that he needs to be everybody's buddy but maybe a nod of the head wouldn't hurt but my biggest complaint is that I was not told ahead of time that there was no potable water available on site. and the nearest bottled water would cost $5.95 a gallon, ($1 dollar more that gasoline)

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
