The Amtrak train runs very close to the campground. Its very loud and woke us up several times during the night. Camping there was still pleasant and we enjoyed the creek.

Nice but loud. The train coming through the campsite several times during the day and night blowing its whistle was quite annoying, especially after 9:00pm. The campsites themselves are quite small.

Space 17 was nice. A little tight for our 26 trailer.

great stay! the people before us unfortunately left a lot of garbage around the campsite, so let this be your reminder to clean up after yourself!! other than that it was lovely. the sound of the river pretty well drowned out the highway noise although you could still hear some honks lol (campground is right by a tunnel). vault toilets were clean. it has nice shore access to the Skykomish River.

Beautiful campground with big trees! It was very shaded in all of the sites so solar panels were not useful for maintaining coach batteries. It is close to Skykomish which is a quaint town with a railroad history. The only real downside to the campground was the noise from the highway on one side and the railway on the other.

Convenient campground just off the highway. My toddler is obsessed with trains so he loved being by the tracks and trestle, but I could see the noise being horrendous if youre in a tent. We were in our camper van with white noise machine so it didnt bother us. Site was clean and right along river. We will be back!

This campsite is not the best, very open and the surface isn't really flat. This is probably the worst one in the campground. Trains/traffic are loud but I think that is a well known fact.

Beautiful campground. Clean on the river some highway noise and trains at night, but not bad.

the location is great and the sites and bathrooms are clean. The only challenge we had was the women's restroom was out of toilet paper.

Very nice campground , a bit loud bc of the train. Clean , well maintained .

This campground is quiet and clean, with peaceful river sounds. The train runs near, but it's not a disruptive sound and is infrequent. Ample firewood available for purchase. Great hikes nearby and several dining options in Skykomish.

This space was convenient, right next to the drinking water. But next time, we prefer to stay at the site with direct access to the river.

We had #18 which seems to be the bigger campsite out of the first loop, two familys could definitely share that spot! Everything was great! Bathrooms didnt lock and train tracks are right there so you can hear it and the honks at the tunnel. We didnt mind but I know some people will. Overall was a great campground!

I camped here with my two children. The river was great, but quite challenging to get to for those of us with mobility difficulties (steep, uneven path, unstable footing, no handrail). The kids loved playing in the river and I enjoyed sunbathing. The river wasnt too cold, but there were some scary currents. We stayed during a burn ban which made it impossible to keep the mosquitos at bay, even with a thermacell, the wind from the river made the thermacell useless. The campsite itself was nice and well spaced from the other sites. The site was clean and the tent pad was like a large sandbox. My tent was too big to fit in it entirely, but it worked out okay. I would not recommend for other families with small children because there is a steep cliff down to the river without any barrier, which adds stress for parents. The worst part was the tunnel directly across the river from the campsite which drivers would honk their horns while passing through at all hours of the night. The nearby town was quaint and quiet. The restaurant was overpriced but I was happy to find vegetarian and vegan options since we couldnt cook over a fire. The convenience store was well stocked with ice and everything you could need at a campsite, and they even take EBT payment.

Nice & relaxing stay with a beautiful view of the river.

We love Money Creek! This is our third season camping here. The river is beautiful and camp sites are large and well maintained. Camp host seemed very nice and helpful. Bathrooms were not very clean this time around which was a bit disappointing but we still had a lovely trip. Most people complain about the train but you get used to it.

GREAT SPOT TO CAMP
@LizS2369221 · Camped on Jun 28, 2024 at Campsite #14
The lower review is partially on us. There are train tracks 100 ft away from a number of campsites, #14 being exactly where the trains are required to honk for the road...and the trains only ran at night while we were there. Probably not great for littles, as it will disturb their sleep, but that is just a handful of sites. Bathrooms were not super clean, and the bugs were pretty persistent.

We had a great experience, four adults and four children in site number four. We were all very comfortable, enough space and very close to the sandy beach.Thank you!

Great campground. The river is amazing! Vault toilets are clean. Sometimes if you're too close to the vault toilet you'll get an unpleasant whiff, but they're few and far between. Don't let it ruin your trip!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
