Although the campsite was great, I found it strange that the host didn't come by to verify or say hello. I found it utterly disgusting that the day we got there (Sunday) the 1 restroom was covered in feces, the floor and the entire toilet. It was absolutely horrible and the fact that I saw nothing of the host until Tuesday afternoon was unacceptable. When I did see the host pull up she admitted to skipping the cleaning and supposedly have the other restroom shut down due to painting well honestly it sure didn't look like it was painted not mention if it was what a horrible time to do it (when the campgrounds are all booked). Would I give tje place another try maybe.

The trains and the cars passing by are pretty loud because the camp site is literally right next to it. I dont mind the noises during the day but when Im sleeping inside my tent on a mat, I am already uncomfortable and this made it even harder to sleep at night. Overall we had a fun time. We chose this site because we booked late and the other places I knew of didnt allow any camp fire. We were allowed to have a fire in the designated fire pit. The bathrooms were stinky and most of the grey water spickets didnt work. Id go back but Id prefer to sleep in a car or RV.

Nice camp ground right on the river site #5 large older forest very nice campground but be prepared for trains which blow their horns very close and cars that honk going thru the tunnel and Trucks that Jake brake for the tunnel very nice but very noisy. Good for one night stays

This is a wonderful campground. We loved how clean it was and the sound of the river was very relaxing. We will definitely stay here again.

Money Creek is an excellent campground. It is well maintained and quiet, the vaulted toilets are as tolerable as vaulted toilets can be :-) We can't wait to visit again.

We had a lovely time at the campground. Everything that we experienced was up to par. We would love to have flush toilets and showers but understand that they are not provided.

The campground was beautiful my sister and brother in law enjoyed the campground for the first night I unfortunately had a medical emergency and was unable to continue our trip.

Surprisingly less than half full Sunday-Wednesday in early August. It's a great forested campground with easy access to river cold water swimming. Some of the freshwater spigots were out of order. Noise from the passing trains and Stevens Pass highway may bother some campers.

Other than the train noise, a very pleasant experience. The camp host was friendly and helpful. The restrooms were clean, which is a plus for pit toilets.

Pros:The site is clean and dry, and the river is fun to explore. Parking space is large enough that can accommodate two cars.Cons:Unfortunately, there are no flushing restrooms, and the tap water is out of order. Additionally, the noise from the train is quite loud, especially at night.

The Amtrak train runs very close to the campground. Its very loud and woke us up several times during the night. Camping there was still pleasant and we enjoyed the creek.

Nice but loud. The train coming through the campsite several times during the day and night blowing its whistle was quite annoying, especially after 9:00pm. The campsites themselves are quite small.

Space 17 was nice. A little tight for our 26 trailer.

great stay! the people before us unfortunately left a lot of garbage around the campsite, so let this be your reminder to clean up after yourself!! other than that it was lovely. the sound of the river pretty well drowned out the highway noise although you could still hear some honks lol (campground is right by a tunnel). vault toilets were clean. it has nice shore access to the Skykomish River.

Beautiful campground with big trees! It was very shaded in all of the sites so solar panels were not useful for maintaining coach batteries. It is close to Skykomish which is a quaint town with a railroad history. The only real downside to the campground was the noise from the highway on one side and the railway on the other.

Convenient campground just off the highway. My toddler is obsessed with trains so he loved being by the tracks and trestle, but I could see the noise being horrendous if youre in a tent. We were in our camper van with white noise machine so it didnt bother us. Site was clean and right along river. We will be back!

This campsite is not the best, very open and the surface isn't really flat. This is probably the worst one in the campground. Trains/traffic are loud but I think that is a well known fact.

Beautiful campground. Clean on the river some highway noise and trains at night, but not bad.
@JillBranEC01BC · Camped on Jun 5, 2025 at Campsite #18
the location is great and the sites and bathrooms are clean. The only challenge we had was the women's restroom was out of toilet paper.

Very nice campground , a bit loud bc of the train. Clean , well maintained .

This campground is quiet and clean, with peaceful river sounds. The train runs near, but it's not a disruptive sound and is infrequent. Ample firewood available for purchase. Great hikes nearby and several dining options in Skykomish.

This space was convenient, right next to the drinking water. But next time, we prefer to stay at the site with direct access to the river.

We had #18 which seems to be the bigger campsite out of the first loop, two familys could definitely share that spot! Everything was great! Bathrooms didnt lock and train tracks are right there so you can hear it and the honks at the tunnel. We didnt mind but I know some people will. Overall was a great campground!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
