Very nice campground , a bit loud bc of the train. Clean , well maintained .

Great spot! It's nice to be able to pick your specific camp-site/location number. It was great to be right along the river, but the only downside is that it leaves more open space so the sound from the highway carries pretty easily. It depends on each person and if they can sleep through certain noises. There was some light roadway traffic noise - during the day you don't really notice it, or aren't even around , at night it's quieter, but you can hear the train go by 2-3 times a night (this was the last week of August, so the train schedule probably varies).
Everything else was great. I wish there was a collective dumpster to throw away recycling, like there was for garbage. Even if not, a sign that would say NO RECYCLING would be convenient to know.
Tent-site was great, close to the water for that great white-noise in teh background. Nice BIG picnic table. Fire pit/grill location was great. Everything was conveniently close, but not overlapping so you weren't breathing in smoke, or too much space between picnic table and firepit.

Lovely setting, well maintained facilities, and I love hearing the trains! It was the perfect get-away-from-the-city break for us. We will be back.

We love camping at Money Creek! But this trip they had the worst camp host I have ever seen anywhere. He's camp host off duty was up for 4 days. Then we saw this car drive up to the bathroom, from the look of the car and him We thought he was homeless. Not sure what he did but the bathrooms were not cleaned at all. We stayed 6 days.

I love this campground but there were too many other campers having fires while a burn ban is in effect. This made me nervous even being next to the river. It might have helped if the Camp Host was on-duty but they were off duty for the duration of our stay.
Overall, the sites and toilet were clean. I would likely visit again!

Beautiful site right on water train was no problem at all and was actually comforting. The host was amazing and on top of keeping the site maintained and being around to make sure guests were okay would very much recommend!
