Site 17 is a hidden gem - close to the bathroom but not too close, plenty of shade, and a decent amount of privacy. The campground is amazing and our host was helpful and friendly. The reservation system said there was no water supply at the campground but the pump system was working just fine during our stay. Definitely coming back!

5 stars rating for our host Jason. The facility doesn't have water supply so we have to rely on the river or diver by to the nearest campground for drinking water. Overall a nice campsite by the river

Probably the nicest camp sites we have been to. Private, spacious and quiet. The sand tent pad was comfortable and it’s nice that our car wasn’t right next to our tent. The river was clear and cooling. All in all it was lovely, even without running water.

We pay for these improved campgrounds to have water supply available to us. Either the pump wasn’t working, for the solar battery wasn’t charging, but could get almost no water out of the pump all weekend. It made it hard to do a lot of things.

Heading east toward the campground on a Sunday, we noticed a TON of westbound traffic. A local told us that is always the case on the weekends, particularly Sunday, so I would avoid this campground completely if you are doing a standard weekend trip. The proximity to a gas station and general store, although not required for us, proved to be very convenient. The water faucets were unusual and a little complicated so we ended up using river water half the time. Campsites were private enough and I would definitely book ours again (17).
